Binding Flying Mounts?

So I noticed that some people have binded flying mounts. Are flying mounts droppable through PK? Is that why they're binding it?

Also, you only drop items when you are red named, right? :P

    Yeah, you can drop equipped items if you're red-named and have no dolls: http://pwi.perfectworld.com/gameinfo/pvp

    Also, I know that fash purchased from the event boutique won't drop on death - myabe the aerogears are the same if bought from there? Don't know for sure, haven't bought aerogear from there yet. But yeah, people can drop aerogear.
