Can't update the client

Hi. For 3 weeks now I can't connect to server via client. It was fine for two years and suddenly this! It says access denied, out of the blue really, course everything was fine untill 3 weeks later. I tried to re-install the client and now I'm left with Rising Tide version 'course every time i try to update, it says "update server connection failed". Where the problem might be? I did nothing with settings. This problem just happened.

    We're going to have to annoy you for more information so we can get to the bottom this. Please open a ticket (surprise!) and attach your dxdiag and a few traceroutes for us.

    1) What is the make and model number of your computer?

    2) Please also tell us whether you are running a 32bit or 64bit version of Windows. You can find out in Windows by going here: Start > Control Panel > System & Maintenance > System. Then look under System > System Type. It will then display 32bit Operating System or 64bit Operating System. Include that info with the info we ask for below.

    3) To create a dxdiag log, go to Start, click on Run, then type in dxdiag and press Enter. Click on Save All Information as a text file (on your Desktop as an example.
    If you are using Vista or 7, go to the Start Menu, click on the Search menu and type dxdiag.exe.

    4) Attach the dxdiag.txt that you save to your reply to us.

    If you have a 64bit system, please click on the 64bit Dxdiag/DirectX button to save the correct log file.

    Could you please provide us with a trace route from your computer to our servers?

    1) Click on Start > click on Run (or in the Windows Search box)> type in cmd

    2) On this screen type in (exactly as it is typed here): tracert pwieast1.perfectworld.com (You can use any of the IP addresses to our servers that are listed below. Try several.)
    Please note there is a space between "tracert" and "pwieast1.perfectworld.com"

    3) Wait for the traceroute to complete.

    4) Right Click on the window

    5) Select the "Select all" option

    6) Hit "Enter"

    7) You will now be able to paste the text into your reply.

    8) Include in the body of your e-mail what Internet Service Provider you are using and what part of the world you are trying to connect from.
