Room 38 changed

Mm, not sure if this has been said yet, but has anyone noticed room 38 being changed over the past week or so? Seems as though the ant pattern is not how it used to be. Myself and others in our faction have noticed this too.

Second note, if this was changed, why was there no notification of this, GM's? If I missed it say so.

    yes, there has already been a thread made out of this. The ant's path in Room 38 has indeed changed. Now, the ants will retrace the path they follow, so you cannot hug the wall, or they will come right for you. There is a brief moment where there are no ants right through the middle, that's the path i take now.

    but yes, they need to start telling us more of the little stuff that they change. Like how Ch'in's path has changed and all the guards in the instances paths have changed.

    EDIT: and Yes, I always use the middle. Just wait for the ant to cross the middle and the hands to line up, then two Holy Path's right across. I've never been able to do the wall.

    The search function fails on such a high degree on these forums..

    Someone suggested going through the middle after they cross, so will try that.

    I follow the right wall.

    One ant goes from the starting NPC to the Ending NPC in a back and forth pattern. That pattern makes it easy to go to the right just by following him.

    Once he reaches the starting npc, the hands will all pop in line and you just follow him to the corner and hug it. You wait for the ant to come back around from the ending NPC to the starting. Once he has passed you going to the left (starting NPC) the hands will pop and you can just holy path straight to the end. Works 95% of the time...Lag is what often kills me in the hands LONG before any ant does xD

    I second RedRose. I've taken the right path for a year and a half now.

    Just did cube on 5 toons yesterday, 3 of them went into room 38 (one of them I needed chrono quest following Valley of the Scarred chrono quests), used the same strategy, and passed it every time.

    Would be difficult to convince me much if anything at all has changed that would make it worth QQing about.

    I've always gone straight through the middle.

    So for example:
    - Changed bugs path in Room 38 of the Cube of Fate
    - Changed <insert boss name here> path out at <insert location information here>

    Time won't wake/make you wiser, but it will definitely wound you.

    no they should not, some ppl actually having more fun discovering things and like being surprised than reading 10 pages of update notes... but owell some ppl r like this

    Nobody's forcing them to read patch notes. It would be nice for those of us that read the notes to find out about changes, could actually see what changes are made.

    and the fact that you generally can't see that, is why some of the rest of us don't bother reading the patch notes.

    They added 1 more mob or changed the way 1 mob patrol.. it now patrols very close to the wall and walks opposite direction .. if u dont time it right, u will be running straight to the mob and with no where else to run .. it was added 3~4 weeks ago .. it is still easily doable

    i have been doing cube even before PW-International existed and noticed the change after a patch few weeks ago

    I used to follow the left ant and hug the left wall after it, with this change now the ant goes back the very way it was going instead of doing a circle, imagine my surprise when the very ant I was following suddenly went back and aggroed me, holy path saved me but barely, the ant actually killed me but I had already clicked on the dice by then, I went to room 1 and warped to room 42 right after b:chuckle was fun though.
