What color does random dye usually come out for you?

So, I heard that some characters have more of a chance to get colors than others based off eye color/hair color/skin color or something along those lines. I also heard that that wasn't true but each character does get a dye modifier. I don't know if its true or not but I figured I'd ask and see if you noticed you get some colors more often than others.

These colors are the colors my dyes usually come out as:
On my cleric I usually get:

Teal
Light blue
Dark Gray/black
Pure white
Brown

    the time i did random dye i got dark dark red... if there is a color % based on the character... i need to know what it is so i can an alt and get black each time...

    I never really thought about this but I usually get:

    - Pure Black
    - Light Blue
    - Blue
    - Dark Brown

    I recently used the random dye and got blue for my Aegean Dress. Looks a hell of a lot better than the light light green I had x.x

    all trends are a bunch of baloney. it is random but will seem to run in cycles.
    you cant see the true color drop rate until you have dyed thousdands of times for an accurate sample size (math stuff)

    know this however, there are several near black combinations that show as black. this makes it SEEM like black rolls more than other colors. pure black is not so common, but it rolls too.

    ps, dont try to sell the blackissh mud green or the blackish deep red on a bikini, looks absolutely disgusting. but most off blacks are sweet and look nice and black.

    I usually get near blacks, sometimes purples. normally any really dark colour. o_o

    I mostly get black. Which is great for my alts but unfortunately does not look good on Anna so I had to sell a bunch of stuff. b:chuckle

    Anything other than random is silly. I have heard the eye color thing before... but none of my chars have black eyes/hair/skin so there you go. The few times I didn't get black I got green, grey and dark blue... also none of which corresponded to any part of the char I was using.

    I usually get some form of green. It does vary and I know it's completely random, but out of 4 items I've used random dye, one was like a pearl white and the other three were different shades of green.

    Random my bum. My clothes almost always turn out green. Even when I'm just trying things on, seven times out of ten it turns out green.(Yes, I did the math.) So the majority of my clothes are green, even the stuff I've tried to random dye. On an interesting note though, one of the few tops I have that aren't green I got from the event boutique, the director of my guild got the same top from the event boutique and it turned out in -exactly- the same colour. What are the odds?

    I get very lucky with black on my mystic. So even though I really want purple, I get black, which is fine by me because she looks good in either color.

    With my psychic, I've made a few black pieces within 10 dyes of a piece, but they tend to come out another color (that isn't green; green rarely shows up in any of my clothes despite all my chars having green eyes)
