Valey Lemur Pet and you

I got a Valey Lemur pet from the gamble event , its cute as hell but the problem is it landed on my Mystic, i saw it was no trade so decided to hatch it, the problem as stated earlier is if you summon one of your Pet/summons, the pet goes away so kinda pointless,

is there a way that I do not know about to trade it around?

    nope 100% untradable and account stashable (seriously whats the point of having these anymore when they keep making them unable to be account stashed?)

    Two more brackets have been opened up for higher level players within Phoenix Valley. Players that are Lv85 - 94 and Lv95+ will have access to their own version of Phoenix Valley.

    Chronobike Dyeing
    Now that the Seamstress is looking good, she's got a new outlook on life and a new skill. Speak to her if you want to dye your Chronobike.

    Pet Eggs
    It is now possible to bind Pet Eggs to yourself using Binding Charms.

    Misc
    The Chieftain's Battlecat was unintentionally renamed Thunder Leopard. It should be fixed with the next patch.

    It looks like Duke Blacke is back to his old mischievous ways and is making more announcements than we'd like. We're going to have another talk with him about his behavior. He should be quieter in the next patch.

    like with untradeable event items such as capes, when u bind the stuff the restrictions are almost always removed (speaking ofc of the "cannot be traded/discarded")
    COULD always try to bind the pet egg to self and see if it becomes account stashable. no harm in trying as its still bound to that char/account anyways and binding charms are only 50 silver in boutique b:lipcurl

    I spent the money on an account stash.

    Anything that isn't stashable, even if it's free or rare, I NPC (unless it's on a character I want it on). Seriously, this was one more of the varied and vast number of reasons I quit PWI again.

    Actually, since mystics don't have an easy way to put their summons away, having a pet makes that a bit easier. I gave my mystic a pet from one of my alts for just that reason.

    I'll try that out after maint.

    And yeh it's kind of ridiculous the amount of things that arn't account stashable now ._.
    We bought the stupid thing to avoid these sorts of problems.

    it used to be like that with rank9 ring but they fixed it QQ

    If you dont' want to use a pet, you can also cat shop it. THough I'm not sure if that works in instance. You can get one of the baby pets though some of the more common ones like the elysium fowl and huggy hare run really really cheap.

    Yes there are ways around it. Im mean there isnt a stow pet feature for mystics like there are for venos. The feature is simply not there. It should be but its not.

    Oh, I know it's not. My alt is a mystic. I don't think there is supposed to be one. THey aren't pets and do not take up space in your pet bag. They have certain weakness compared to veno pets, one of which is that since it's a skill and not a pet it can't be stowed. Still, since my alt is a twink I haven't bothered checking the cat shop thing. She just whips out her ninetails (not the recolored cashshop one the original) and it solves the problem. If anything, I'm scared the devs would realize they were counting as pets and remove the ability to stow them in this way by letting you have two out at once. Now that would tick me off. Then again, I'm guessing that the reason mystic heal pets works on veno heal pets is exactly because they put in the mechanic to have them viewed as pets for that purpose and it just comes with the added bonus of only being able to have one out a time. At least when a mystic's summons die they don't lose anything.

    Don't worry they won't do this, at least not if you summon a mount. If you were able to have a pet out and be on a mount at the same time that would introduce way too many balance issues, and they can't be bothered to deal with that.

    Ok lets call it a skill, wizards and seekers can stop there db/vortex (by pressing esc)effectively ending the skill. Whats up with mystic summons(pets imo). I dont see why they cant add a simple stow pet feature or at the very least cancel "skill" option.

    Mystic summons don't constantly drain mana. Don't get me wrong, I think that it would be nice to have a cancel cast/stow pet for the mystic's summons. But as I think it was an intentional game design, and not a bug, I don't see it changing anytime soon since it took them three years to even open the arena. Or fix that npcs face. Or fix rubberbanding, etc. They've made a lot of positive changes, don't get me wrong that either. But if those kinds of bugs are lower on the priority chain than new content, then I'm guessing that intentional game design is even lower on that priority chain.

    They don't really care all to much about balance issues imho. But you're right. I don't think they'll do either actually. I think they have much bigger fish to fry at the moment and I'd imagine that it would be very low on their priority list.

    Then you can always do what I do... click the "stay" option so the summon doesn't move, and go about your business. Once the mystic gets far enough away the summon stows itself.

    Bah well ok i guess i can use the damn thing to rid myself of my summon but still its silly, unless they add the ability for a Mystic to have a pet and your summon it was a total waste to get one,

    im pretty sure Devs/Gm's don't read many posts but maybe this minor issue can be brought up to them.

    also if anyone tries that bind thing let me know.

    Ok bringing this thread back on topic, tried this out, a little later than I'd intended by meh.
    Binding it does indeed remove all the text that says unable to be traded/discarded/stashed, but unfortunately it still cannot actually be account stashed :(

    Just gives me the "This item cannot be put in account stash" message. Howevers maybe this can be put to forward to the support staff as a bug and maybe be given a replacement to a dif toon (I can dream can't I?)

    Well you can always put your pet on halt and walk away
    It's what I usualy do when it get's anoying

    You can't cat shop a non tradable non stashable pet unless anyone knows a work around
    19k Hp and rising my goal is 20k unbuffed (would love 25k )

    She wasn't referring to selling a pet, she was referencing a way to stow a pet/summon outside of an instance, especially for Mystics.b:chuckle

    I mean as a way to stow it, you turn into a cat shop selling something for an insane price that no one would ever buy. And then the chiyu disappears. I didn't mean place the pet in the catshop. :P
