Rare Pet Camping.. + Frogling

As some may know rare pets spawn every 12 hours. (With the exception of the two spawns for the Snow hare that respawn every hour and... something seconds)

So, has ANYONE bothered to stay up for 12 hours to wait for a rare pet to respawn?

If so does it work? b:chuckle


Frogling.

I've recently been hunting the frogling/treefrog pet. And I've caught one. So, are they good pets ? b:pleased

    Frogling are nice Magic tanks , with good HP and adequate phys defence and speed. Not the best but surely sth different from the typical golems , though there will be times that u just wont be able to tank sth. However for every day grinding and completing quests they do the job + they are cool and cute (and it attracts the girls >.> )

    I remember actually staying up two nights for a kowlin. I saw it right when it spawned and immediately, someone nabbed it. I think they had super high channeling, but obviously that was so few tries on my part, so there's no way I could have gotten it. b:laugh

    rare pets spawn 6 hours after maintenance.
    that means when it comes back on. not when it goes off

    then every so many hour after that xD hope it helps

    i tried to camp for frog once, after an hour i was like wtf i m wasting my life, and bought it from AH for about 35k.. luck i guess..

    another thing is, i onbce happened across a shaodu by chance and wrote down the time i tamed it then whent back every 12 hours, on the minute and got it.. until maintenance.. then didnt bother..

    i think a rare pet is not worth the hassle for the money you ll get from selling it. you can make much more money in the time you wait for it and buy one if you want it for yourself. if you re doing it to make money, there are better and faster ways.. imagine farming for all the camping time.. and i also think they are not really worth to waste pet bag space for..

    The person obviously forgot a 0 behind that 35k.

    Rare pets were worth the hassle before. I could make about 2m per day with them. You don't have to camp every long if you know the tricks. 10 minutes will do it. b:shutup

    Unless LC's prices differ drastically from HT's, he didn't forget a 0. Froglings and Snow Hares are particularly cheap and tend to fully stock catshops in City of the Lost for 20k-50k, depending on the seller.
