I'm a Seeker, How the heck am I suppose to kill any of the Huge-eye Dragonflies when they are in the air.. I'm only level 18... cannot fly yet.. It's a spiritual cultivation quest..so it's not like I can just move on and come back to it later when I hit level 30 b:sad

I had someone who could fly join my squad and do it for me, but it didn't count, not surprising, though. Also, can Seekers use bows? Maybe that's what I need!

    Everything has its beginnings, but it doesn't start at one. It starts long before that... The world is born From zero. The moment zero becomes one is the moment the world springs to life. One becomes 2. 2 becomes 10. 10 becomes 100. taking it all back to one solves nothing. so long as zero remains... One.. Will eventually grow to 100 again.

    You should have gotten a temporary flying mount out of your level 15 supply stash. If you haven't opened that yet, there's your solution.

    If you're a pretty casual player, and it took you longer than the duration of the flying mount to get from 15-19, you can try climbing trees and hitting them with some of your ranged attacks.

    And the person in squad flying. Did they kill more than 1? It's a % chance to get the item, not every time. That may have been your problem.

    Also, seekers, unfortunately, can only use blades/swords.

    Hmmm theres dragonflies around some huge pillars there too.

    I just jumped up, waited til one of the few was in my range, used starter genie skill and they came into melee range lol
    Gotta be careful to no fall down though xD

    And yes, I did this just for the hell of proving you don't need a kite to do it. lol

    This annoyed me too. I play a lot of alts, and was also busy moving right around that time, and consequently my flier expired before I reached that quest on my seeker. I tried standing on a pillar and it took ages waiting for any to fly near me. After only getting one kill on my own I finally accepted the help of a higher level friend that had been bugging me to let them help. And squadding worked for me.

    This is, without a doubt, one of the stupidest quests they ever implemented. I mean, it is cultivation... it isn't something you can just trash.

    Um, try killing staunch worms for TB quest as a wizard even with a flying mount, then qq about this.

    Lol I just used my genie to flame skill that **** down to me so I could **** it's face. Didn't think about it that fast though, I was jumping around raging for a while.

    b:laugh I was just oneshotting them with my Sin using a bow. b:victory Not looking forward to hitting them with sticks on Wizard or slapping them with balls on my Psy. >_> That is, if I ever can be convinced to play again.

    All you got to do is shoot them once with the bow to lure them... then switch back to your normal weapon. b:sweat

    Lowest lvl bow does not require adding any dex.

    one of the seeker skills at that point launches a mid range projectile, i stood on the side of the mountain there and used that to lure one in to melee range
    the staggering strike ability has a little range to it and should be avaliable at level 9? i believe

    there are skills to hit them at that level on a seeker I had no trouble with it, and I did NOT fly

    I hated that quest but I did not use the kite. I had much luck on my side since I used staggering strike to lure the dragonfly (you'd see me calculating distances, waiting for the darned mob to move around and all *laughs*) and only killed three of them to succeed. Patience is a virtue, I guess.

    Of course, the Battousai skill would have helped a ton there. But ironically, you learn it just after doing that quest. b:surrender

    At 348,211 one spawns and you can climb up the pillar to kill it. one double jump should get you up there.

    You need to..

    1.go to your inventory and open your stash
    2. go to your mailbox and push the quest related button and you go..

    my genie had earthflame, so i got underneath one of them, jumped up, earthflamed it so it came down to me, then killed it :D

    They fly the other way once hit.

    At level 19 you'll get Battousai which has a better range than Staggering strike, but as you level Staggering strike is also gets more range.

    They only run twice so you may have to pull them down, let them run, pull them down, let them run, pull them down and kill.
    Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory
