Wraithgate cape?

Helloes!

So I made a Seeker a few days ago and have fallen in love with it nearly as much as I love my Mystic, which is kinda rare for me since outside my HA fox-veno and my old Sin I was never much into melee. I noticed of course that Seekers use purely blades/swords, and they're not meant for APS (which is something I actually like).

I have been planning on outfitting my Seeker with my Veno's TT99 HA set since I already have it made and it would save me the hassle, while I work on saving money to get her rank gear. That being said, in the long run if I were to get the Wraithgate Trophy Mode cape, which would be better? I am wondering if skipping the -int cape is a better idea altogether. It would save me some money since I already have the TT90 Mantle of the Ghost Lord cape from my veno also.

Better yet what are some examples of a cape some of you may be using as your endgame (or at least for the moment if you're 90+)?

Not sure I'll carry my seeker this far but I like to plan ahead lol.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

Every bit of - channel you can muster is what you should get. So the - channel cape is what I went with. Since were heavy armor, we don't have many - channel options. We have the rank 8 ring, rank 9 ring, and TM cape. Maybe you can get lucky with a OHT belt or necklace too.

Oh I wouldn't have thought of -channeling. I mean it makes sense considering the long casting times. Just in my mind I thought "HA, uses sword, must need -int?" XD

Anyway, thanks for the tips guys I really appreciate it! :)

actually, the long casting times make -chan make less sense for a seeker than it otherwise might. -chan doesn't change casting times, after all, so -chan gives more benefit the greater the ratio between channeling time and casting time is for your skills. seeker skills tend to have a relatively low such ratio, at least when compared to (for instance) wizards and clerics.

that said, -chan still makes more sense for a seeker than -int does.

-int ANYTHING is a waste for a seeker. Cant hit 5 aps anyway and secondly, we have to many skills to spam and no time to auto attack.

normally a seeker doesn't need -int, but you should consider having some -int gears to switch to for long boss fights.

at least i would prefer to be effective with auto attack on long fights. it will be easier on me.
it's never bad to have -int, specially when you're not tanking anything(in case you sacrificed hp/def for -int).

And magic defence ornaments, which you use anyway

As Defense isnt a problem for the Seeker,
I'd get the Crit Cape simply for the zerk crits later, which happens to be also the one the game suggests for Seekers when you level up \o/

Stacking SOME -int is good for marking your target. 1.43 or 1.54 would be perfect. -chan is just stupid because there are only a few skills that would take advantage of it, and for those, you have Blade Affinity.

Don't stack -int as heavily as a sin or fist BM. Find a balance with what works for you. My ideal -int is 1.54, but atm I'm only 1.25.

Also, don't become one of these vortex/skill-spamming Seekers. I see WAY too many of these types. Vortex is nice for AoE'ing, but it's also used as a crutch for bad seekers in boss fights. Use your skills, but don't mindlessly buttonmash. Find a chain of skills that works for you, OR use skills with their corresponding stances like a good Seeker would do. We're not primary DD'ers; we're debuffers and off-tanks should the need arise.

i actually had my wiz's cloudcharger on my seeker at 45 (mostly for the vit, but lets face it, at level 45 that 500 p def is still pretty nice) wore it till i put my assassins lunar cape on it (since it was refined well with pretty good stats)

Yes and for our 3.3seconds channeling for gemini slash, 1.4seconds channeling for vortex(which you want to channel fast since mobs interrupt all the time >.<)
and the 1.4seconds for ion spike. And don't come up with the blade affinity skill cause that lasts 6 seconds with a 60 seconds cooldown. b:bye
