Farming a Cube Neck Daily Expenses

Since I have started to farm my second cube neck because I gave my first to my husband -- a lot of people have asked me how much it costs to do it and if it is cheaper to farm than to buy. My first cube neck cost me about 40 mil to farm but only because half the cogs came from TheDan with no charge. So this time, I am keeping track of my expenses to sort of give people an estimate of how much it costs/ how much time it takes. Since not everyone who has asked for this info can view Legendary Forums... I am posting this on PWI Forums for all to see.
--NOTE-- I do not count time as an expense and I have not included expenses of HP and MP food.

RECIPE FOR CUBE NECKLACE/PROGRESS
- 30 Rotating Cogs of Fate --CURRENT COUNT: 16--
- 1 Warsoul: Ksitigarbha --CURRENT COUNT: 1-- DONE
- 1 Warsoul: Vajra
- 2 Warsoul: Avalokites -- CURRENT COUNT: 2-- DONE
- 2 Warsoul: Jakari (36 Purified Perfect Stones) --CURRENT COUNT: 22--

My Recommendations for making Fragments, etc.:
-Cogs of Fate -- These are farmed in Advanced Cube (Rms 51-60). Instead of taking the Exp + POF, you take the Damaged/Broken Cog and in Rm 60 you get to repair it. Advanced Cube Guide Here
-Warsoul Fragments --

Above is a guide for what you can use to make such fragments and what their chances of crafting are. There are a few wrong, but the majority are correct.
-Warsoul: Ksitigarbha -- I would farm some 3-1 for Evil Minion Shells, 2-3 for Giant Ape Tails/Astral Stones and 3-2 for Tsu's Ghost Masks. These mats I have had the most luck with and are not hard to farm.
-Warsoul: Vajra -- I would farm lunar solo mode (preferably on x2) which only has the expence of the Essence of Nature to open. Farm as many Transparent and Fragment Crystals as you can to try for the Vajra.
-Warsoul: Avalokites -- Chip these.... I have never had luck with them honestly and I have used thousands of chi stones before, you will end up spending more on them gambling if you arent lucky.
-Warsoul: Jakari -- Made with 18 Purified Perfect Stones which are what you get when you decomp Gold OHT gear. This is what will take you awhile to collect... because there arent a lot out there. Just takes patience and lots of searching. They are around 150-200k.

Helped someone from world chat today with their Chrono TT Quests, my share was as follows:
-Note- Storm gave me his share as well of the green mats not the gold...
-1 Empire's Back Image (2 mil from split) --PROFIT--
-2 Giant Ape Tails (200k x 2 = 400k) --SPENT--GAMBLED
-4 Tsu's Ghost Masks (200k x 4 = 800k) --SPENT--GAMBLED
-20 Signs of Twilight (16k x 20 = 320k) --PROFIT--
(with some other things that would be too tideous to give an exact profit amount)

I took the Ape Tails and Ghost Masks to the Warsoul NPC at the center of Arch and instead of selling the mats for coin... I tried my luck at making the Warsoul: Ksitigarbha Fragment. After using all of those TT mats I made 1 Warsoul: Ksitigarbha Fragment :) YAY

    There is also an oppurtunity cost in not choosing a page of fate in room 50. You have to sacrifice 30 pages of fate for 30 cogs. That's like a 12m cost which offsets the obp from cards.

    Pages of Fate sell to cube merchants for roughly 350k atm, those merchants resell PoF to people for 400k+...

    400k x 30 = what?

    Believe the answer is 12mil :3

    He also said "like 12mil", which means it doesn't exactly need to be 12m, but going with the current prices that cube merchants sell PoF for, 12m is a reasonable total for 30 PoF.

    doing one cube run with advanced cube takes... 20-30 minutes? but it only takes me that long because my husband bothers me a lot lol and i dont like to have time restrictions x)
    i only play about 2-3 hours a night, so all of this is done within that time if that gives you a better feel for how long one day recorded is.
    the thing that has been the most work is farming lunar solo mode... 16 runs takes me about an hour (on a sin... so i stealth to the bosses).

    I should've posted my fist rerolling, but looking at how much money I've wasted is a bit depressing, so best I didn't lol. I'm on try #32 now, got 4% crit twice, frenzied rage once, nothing yet on +20 attack

    the warsoul frags mini gave me i think were 6 mil each so... 12 mil for those and each Purified Perfect Stone you can average out a price for what i actually paid for some, around 200k each.

    all in all- it is cheaper to farm the cube neck since the stamps are now going for 110 mil each, just more time consuming

    yes. and if you're accustomed to doing cube on several chars per day, it's not even that time consuming.

    130 mill minimum if you chip all the warsouls

    100-110 mill average if you get warsouls with a mix of randoming and chipping
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    nowhere close to 100-110 mil, you can buy mats to get the warsoul frags and pay less than that instead of farming them lol

    I worked out the cost on average for makeing the warsouls at the npc then compared the chip price and assumed the lower value.

    On average it will take 100-110 minimum to farm a cube necklace with 1 mill a day cube expenses (not counting do alls) and the cheapest average mat or chip fee counting lost pages and chip prices.
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    b:surrender maybe im just stupid... but i have NO idea where you are getting that it costs around 100 mil to farm a cube neck- maybe i am just mis-understanding you...

    when you have time- do your math on this thread and break it out.

    You misunderstood, there is no trade option to turn page of fate into Cogs. Just got to do cube as usual, but pick the other option in room 50 to reach room 60 in a limited time for Cogs (room 51-60 are know as advanced cube). You're sacrificing a NEW page of fate, not using up an old one.
