No escape from Dragon's Breath

b:irritated I am having issues wih Dragon's Breath. I have had to force close game the couple of times I have used it-once tonight after I beat Boss in Slaughter House in Cube (talk about a bummer). I have platinum charms for HP and MP so it just keeps going and going and going and...You get the idea. Not able to move, stop spell-nothing. Picture a wiz standing with sword to ky emitting bright white light that lasts beyond the death of the monster until it spawns again...Is there a way to stop the spell? With my bound plat. mana charm, I would be siting here until Labor Day of I didn't force close. I was recently told to use esc and/or exit but I had already tried bothof those. Exitting via force close has been the only way out. Anyoe else with this issue? Wanted to check w/ others before going to tech. BTW-great spell to use on boss in Open Sesame room in Cube

    press Esc, if that doesnt work, click your face in the upper left hand corner to select yourself (or maybe select any other target), and try pressing Esc again. Ive never had to log out to cancel DB. There might be a button to click in the channeling bar as well, although ive never used it + the Earthguard re-skin might have gotten rid of it.

    i have the same prob on my cleric when i use BB.... when it does dis **** i usually hit esc key about 30 or 50 times an eventually it stops it.... but not b4 im throughly annoyed b:angry

    Thank you both very much. Will give that a try, If you've ever been in Cube of Fate with that buggy eyed monster with the ridiculous amt of HP, you can understand how frustrated I was when DB's killed it but couldn't take advantage because I had to exit game-arrrrggh

    i have also found this happen. Esc doesn't work to turn it off. i usually click the ground near me, then the physical attack button, then esc again, that works for me. Never had to force quit the client before.

    Epic copy paste skills b:cute


    There are severel ways to cancel a skill that is channeling. You can click esc, which cancels whatever you are doing at the moment. If you clicked a mob, esc will unselect that mob. If your channeling a skill, esc will cancel. If you opened a window (like invatory), esc will close it. There is a catch though. Just like windows, you have to have the thing you want closed 'slected'. If you want a mob unselected, but opened your invatory after you selected the mob, esc will close invatory. Than you have nothing 'selected' so esc won't do anythhing. Clicking on the mob's info bar will 'select' it, and esc will now close it.
    Same with canceling a skill, click the channelbar of DB will select is, and than esc will close it.

    There is an easier way to close DB though.
    When you are channeling DB (or any other continues aoe), the bar looks just like any other channel bar, with 1 difference:

    Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I had tried esc many many times but no escape I just tried that again and no go. Tried hiting other spells, any and all buttons on character bar and the red crystal that shows when you have spark available. I had to shut down again with force close. Guess I'll have to put in ticket but I have a feeling it will never be answered by the mmany other posts I am reading. That dratted MP plat charm just keeps me going and going...b:puzzled b:irritated

    Ahaaaa. Used combination of Sirrobert's instructions and yours, namely hit ground, attack a few times then escape. Yippee-first time I have been able to use without forcinh close. You guys are the bomb! Thank you

    And now, repeated by just using escape multiple times. Nice to know I can use that skill for once. Allthough works slw, really nicce for the "Open Sesame"room in cube

    Did you even look at the screenshot and try the button I told you to hit?

    On the CHANNELING bar are 2 little crystals in the center, 1 above and 1 below. The top 1 is a button. Click on it and you will cancel the skill
