As a Mystic, how many points should I put to each attribute per level-up?

The best? I was told every two levels put 9 on magic and 1 on strength.

thats the way i build my mystic
besides your mag attributes is not only important for your damage output and skills, it also contributes the magic AND phy attack of your summons.
whatever you lack in HP, shard it with citrines and refine your gear .
I do respect other builds of mystics , but since my survivability with this build is already so high, many things can be soloed till level 80, I dont feel its justified in putting points in vit.0 -
Just put 54 str and the rest on mag b:sweat0

All of them.

Being sensible:
You must put 3 points into magic every level.
You must put 1 point into strength every other level (on average).
Do that and you can use your weapons and (arcane) armour.
You now have 1 and a half points per level left over. These should MOSTLY go into magic. You could, however, put some into vitality, if you feel you need the hitpoints more than the attack. You don't get very many hitpoints per point, though.
You probably should not put any of these spare points into dex or strength - but there are some arguments for raising dex to 20 and even for putting some into strength.
In general, however, you should put them mostly into magic.
This suggestion ignores LA and HA builds. Get a better idea of how the game works before trying an unusual build.0 -

There are no wrists/boots for rank6.9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -
I do 2 vit 2 magic 1 str on even lvls and 5 magic on odd. Though i sorta don't recommend this build, you lose a lot of damage and don't gain much HP at higher lvls. I just did it for if i get healing aggro.0

What I did on my veno is:
1 point into STR on levels that can be divided by 2 (IE: 24, 46). This will go on until level 98 if I make it so far.
1 point into VIT so that the base VIT stat is always 1/3 of my level. For example, at level 72 I have 24 VIT.
5 points into MAG on every other levels.
The points into VIT does take a little off magic damage but it gives you more health and does help you from being one shotted by certain bosses' AOEs. At level 75 I have more than 3k HP and with a barb buff more than 4k. And, it does make me less squishy when I steal agro from my pet.
PS: Oops didn't notice that it has been moved to Mystic forums.0
