worries about dmg

hey all,

i have a lv 88 wizard pure built with TT80 sword with only +1 refine but 2 shards. i helped my friend with some quests. he was a lv 77 wizard with a TT70 gold weapon +3 and hybrid built. his basic magic attack is about 1.3k lower than mine, his weapon about 150 lower. and his dmg on mobs at his lv was the same to mine. is this normal or should i ask a gm if there is a bug or something? thanks for helping

    Did you have a jones blessing on? Even if you did, I really wouldn't worry about it.. I'm sure it's something easily explainable if you showed the numbers you were both hitting and pwcalcs of your gear.

    no i didnt use jones and my masteries are all at lv 10
