Mystic summons

I'm a 58 Seeker and I just dueled a Mystic around my level (mind you, I have an npc bought sword,and she had a legendary wep.). So the battle started and I warped and stunned her, but when I tried to click on her, the summon got in the way, and for ages I couldn't click her(damn, couldda used aoe, ph well), then after my hp went below half , I managed to click and decided it was too late for skill casting and start meleeing, gah I'm sure she had less than 10 hp left, but I lost. Is there an easier way to target mystics, without their summon getting in the way?
