So i did some gear experimentation the other day and i was swapping gear out and re-summoning my pet, and i noticed that gear, and the mystics stats have a direct impact ont he pets themselves.

So i bring you this.....

Make a LA mystic, (Redacted for secrecy, dont want to tell you what i found out). the LA itself will boost it' Pdef. Wear might rings too, to boost the atk strength of the pet.

Now you can actually tank some REAL stuff.

In PvP people will have to kill your pet or die. As they attack your pet you can heal it or you can attack your target either way, your opponent is going to suffer.

    Uhm yeah thing is, your pets will be stronger or whatever, but you wont be able to heal the pet as well as an AA user. Attack will be kind of rubbish and LA's crit potential wont really make up for lack of damage, cos only 4 attack skills can crit (5 if you count the lvl100 skill). Also if an AA user leeches devil they will probably gain the same crit rate as an LA user, and lucky break gives 100% crit rate on the next skill you use. You would be worse off in support as your heals would not heal for as much.

    Basically, It would work for what you want it to work for, better summon tanks, but you would then cut yourself off from what makes a mystic, versatility.

    EDIT: OH, and mp, yeah...you need a ton of that as a mystic and LAs would have empty mp tanks for 70% of the time they are in combat b:avoid
