DreamWeaver Catshop fail hacking. I want to report

There is a catshop in dreamweaver that is buying WhiteTea for 58k and other Apos. My catshop was currently selling White tea by it for 57k. I tried to sell my White Tea to the other Catshop but it wouldnt sell because i think the other person is using cheat engine on the server side. But it wont sell because the glitch is fixed to prevent Duplicating. So i want to report this catshop anyway on DreamWeaver 528 663. Shop is called ~removed~ I am still selling by WhiteTea for 57k around West Arch. So i am not scamming. That catshop is not mine.

    ScreenShot wont help, GM should go try to sell an item to that catshop, it wont let u because the person doesnt have server money, He is using fake client side money that he got from using a memory editor. Thats why his able to keep the catshop up i think.

    This has become very common on Lost City as well. I reported the first few I saw but honestly, I doubt GMs will do anything about it. Even if some people think they will, their lack of communication makes me doubt their credibility.

    Edit: Though I did have a pleasant experience with a GM on Live Chat recently...if anything I'd try sending a ticket then waiting for Live Chat...I don't think anything gets done with just a ticket.

    Yeah this catshop **** can scam people for example, Catshop1 is selling WhiteTea for 57k.
    The other Catshop2 is buying WhiteTea for 58k. So the merchant buys the Catshop1 WhiteTea for 57k and will try to sell to Catshop2 for 58k but it wont sell because the Catshop2 is using fake coins and the server won't accept it. So now the Merchant is stuck with the WhiteTea and loses money and profit.

    Now replace the WhiteTea with 400mil Scroll of Tome. Someone can lose hundreds of millions like this.

    Well the only times I've seen that happen is when catshops DC'd and their shop was still there... so when you actually DC but it doesn't log your player out *...*.

    Protip: There's a way to keep your catshop from buying stuff without any need to ****.

    you know, this can also happen if youve changed the number since you made the shop. i.e. you have 100 teles and use 1 but set your shop up without changing anything, it can bug. not necessarily a scam .-.

    What that catshop has done has nothing to do with hacking, or editing any files. He's is taking advantage of something that the game does not check, which I will not specify here (I did last time I saw this thread, and my post got deleted b:chuckle). I *think* I recall GMs saying this was bannable, and I would definitely report it.

    Its unlikely that he is using cheat engine or any game modifications and unlikely to get banned. As it has been pointed out, this could be used with large ticket items to scam people out of money but that doesn't look to be the case in this situation.

    Best case: He is unaware that this is even going on, leave him a note saying you're interested in selling to him.

    Worst case: Someone might buy your apoth to try to sell to him and get stuck holding them for a bit.

    Not a **** btw and I doubt it's even a scam unless both cat's belong to the same trader. If 57k is the normal price for white tea's ( overpriced compared to HT ) then no one is losing money by not being able to sell to the 58k cat they can just re-sell to someone else for 57k.

    Now the scam is if they are not 57k at normal price ( Ie: normal price is 40k ) and someone is selling overpriced items with the lure to the customer of getting even more profit back.

    I've seen the scam before, and yes it is a scam.

    Titled "Free money", guy was selling some dragontenna arrows for 1000 coins, and buying them for 10,000, I bought 1 and tried to sell it, didn't work of course. I was level 4 and just started playing, yes I was a noob and an idiot for falling for it... I'll get him back one day >:3

    There's a way to set up your cash shop and its quite easy to do, i've seen a number of shops in lost city doing it. It is bannable if someone sends in a ticket.

    is a perfect example of something that OUGHT to be written up and sent in to those Devs you're always telling us you communicate with on our behalf.

    If people (of questionable character) know there are minor code bugs that they can use to exploit legitimate in-game functionality and turn a profit and use them to do so I should think you'd want to close those buggy 'loopholes'.

    i don't know how they do it but I've seen it done on Dreamweaver too. Luckily it was only once, and i only lost about 50k becuase of it. but it something to be aware of.
    Killing level 80's with a lvl 60 is a lot more fun than killing level 90's with a level 100.

    I'm not saying i do it >.> I'm just saying I was informed how to do it. I earn my own money abusing people who want to p.level alts by selling frost to them.b:shutup
