Launcher/updater buttons have unreadable font

After re-installing PWI my launcher looks like this: http://tinypic.com/r/fz0w3q/7

Notice the bizarre font and/or language on the buttons? Any word on how to correct this would be nice.

    When it starts up fully, the 3rd from the left button on top is verify, try using that button, then see.

    Still having this issue, looked around again and can't find any help. :-/

    Any other suggestions?
