Patcher will not start the game

I load the patcher and when i click start it does nothing. the start button lights back up how can I resolve this.

    I am having the same problem, and right now I'm re-downloading the patcher, I am hoping that this will fix it.

    Try verifying the files.
    If you already have:
    Try going to your computer (C://)
    Perfect World Entertainment -> PWI -> element -> scroll down and find elementclient
    Double click the elementclient and see if that works for you

    What it does is bypass the patcher and should open your game as long as your game is up to date.


    Also, make sure that when you closed PWI you really exited not just hit the X button at the top. Otherwise, sometimes, PWI will continue to run in the background of your computer and because of the strange glitch going on with the patcher, it wont load up. (least not for me when I was running two clients)

    This is more of a temporary fix if it works. Otherwise, re-downloading may help. I'm assuming the game is up-to-date. Hard to tell more from what was said, not sure what kind of message it is giving you.
