Strange INPUT issue

Running Windows XP Pro SP3 on a Sony Vaio VGN-N350N with all updates. Chat functionallity works fine. But all letters whenever pressed instead of their inputs put out 0-9 over and over again.

I've updated all drivers over, I've reinstalled the game, played with advanced text input options and administrative options... Anyone have any other ideas?

    Is Num Lock off? If so try Fn+Numlk or Shift+Numlk.

    Numlock caps and scrolllock are mostly off, and no... neither of those commands did any good :(

    any other ideas???

    Bottom right of the screen should be a keyboard, click on it and make sure its set to English.
