So i was researching on what sword path to go with but i got stuck between two choices:

Ghoulish Sword-> Dragonblade-> Firelotus: Blade of the Dragon

or

Shinrotwins

The Add on for Firelotus is nice for AoEing and such but i also like the one from Shinrotwins.
Is it possible and affordable to get both Dragonblade and Shinrotwins for lvl 80 then craft Firelotus for lvl90 or should i just stick with one. Thank You in advance :)

If you have the money for both its your choice, I guess it all depends on your playstyle. You should really take into consideration which option you like better.

Shinrotwins: <-- Dual swords, higher phys attack than single blade ; slower APS, but on the other hand they are better for skill use. <-- higher dmg so whenever you use a skill you'll hit higher, <-- skills don't have anything to do with APS.

Ghoulish, Dragonblade, and Firelotus: Single blade 1.11 aps better for phys attack hits. Not as good skill dmg but easier to build chi from and with the APS if you get a few -int HA gear, it would be maybe more dmg than dual swords.

--My opinion: I personally like both, If I had to choose (Key word IF!!!) I would choose the single blade. I like its attack animation as well as the APS I don't mind the little less skill dmg but I do enjoy the visual of one sword rather two. I also enjoy Firelotus add XD

    Hope this helped :)

I personally used shinrotwins for 80-89. It will be one of the best weapons you can use for that level range because it adds a str bonus and is complemented with a heal proc.

At 90+, I used firelotus until I could get r8. The blade, refined at 4+, is one of the most powerful ones you can use for the 9x level range since it adds a str and hp bonus.

If you can afford both, I'd use those weapons for the mentioned level ranges. I'm not sure about your server, but I was able to sell my shinrotwins for about 5 mil after buying the mats for only about 3 mil. You could probably use the coin from selling the shinrotwins to fund your firelotus.

IF I had to choose only one, I'd stick with the firelotus path for the fact that you're progressing your weapon with your levels. Also, firelotus is a nice placeholder until you find a better weapon past 95.

if ur looking for a zerk that isnt on the firelotus sword there are dual blades called demonic rebuttal for lvl 98. they have gloom .05 int and a str boost i think. i havent used it but i can imagine it could come in handy until u get r8 or nv swords.

Does the zerk effect work on magic attacks? Like will heartseeker/battosai/ion spike zerk?

Why care for aps. Not hitting 5 aps or even 4. Seekers have SKILLS to use and a lot of them.

Go for damage over anything else.

Yep, it does. Cause those are normal attacks (skills) that happen to use magic dmg
