How many heads do you get in a solo frost?

I'm .91 attacks / sec with my bow and I always get 2 heads per wave, occasionally 3. On average I get 35 heads total, though I've made it as high as 45 (once b:surrender).

Just curious how many else everyone gets. Thinking of buying a CV bow just so I can get that third head more often, it's really starting to **** me off >.<

Also, it may just be me being superstitious, but I feel that I kill that third head more often when I physically click on the mob as opposed to tab target > hot key. Anyone else notice this or am I losing it?

I used to get in the 40's with just my bow. These days, I use Bramble Rage here and there and have better gear so I tend to hit 50+.

If you're demon, you can triple spark between waves to get a 3rd and potentially 4th head.

Tab shoot and tab shoot again before the animation finishes. Personally, I find I'm slower if I try to swivel the camera and click, but to each their own.

Doing solo on my bm when I was trying to hit 101, I managed around 32-35 heads. Occasionally if I got really lucky or I hit a few AoE's cause of closeness, I would get upwards of 40 heads.

But yeah, normally it's between 32 and 35.

On this char, since it's bout two per wave I get around 30is heads if I had to guess since I can't take the quest just yet Q.Q

Even though hypering heads are kind of a waste, last frost i even attempted to kill heads w/out letting alts have them, I probably averaged 30-35 with just a bow.

Just to update: I managed to find a 3 star bow with a -.1 int add on, bringing my aps with a bow to 1 / sec. Just finished a run where I hit 50 heads without 3 sparking. My ping was under 250 ms and I easily hit the third head every round. One thing I noticed tho was that I seemed to be able to hit the third head when I tabbed and attacked during the second half of the animation (when the bow is actually up and shooting) as opposed to the start of the animation (bringing the bow up).

Also, in terms of where to position yourself. Imagine the intersection of the two paths as a box; Stand on the south side of the box a quarter length away from the east side.

Bramble rage was very useful, though I only found occasion to use it twice. If you're serious about solo frosting I'd stat a BR genie with high mag so you can spam on cooldown.

    Thanks for the tips Mauntilla!

Don't get bramble rage, instead get lighting chaser. It has a less CD and consumes much less stamina. I usually average around 45 heads and each time, I kill about 3 heads when a whole bunch does spawn, more if I use my own aoe skill if the chance is given. The trick is after you kill one head and as you tab for the 2nd head, press tab quickly as you fire an arrow to kill the 2nd head so that you target the 3rd head quickly to use lighting chaser.

Hmm interesting idea. What level lightning chaser are you using and with how much dex?
About to give it a shot now.

Lightning chaser is AMAZING. I started using it during oceania as well to kill the hands, and was pretty much spamming it on cooldowns during heads (3 energy / sec genie). Totaled 53 heads on my first attempt. Level 1 LC deals 200+ damage so don't bother leveling it past that

Tabbed auto shot for the first 2 or 3 heads and LC'd the last one on every round. Whether or not I was able to shoot the third head with a bow was mainly dictated by lag though. If you 3 spark at an opportune time you'll easily break 1.75 mil exp.

    Great tip neodaystar b:victory
