Barrier thorn Nirvava

How can i make the barrier thorn Nirvana or should i just buy it whats the price range?

and whats the damage difference between the nirvana and the r8 daggers

i'm thinking with nirvana i could reach 5 aps is that true or not

    1. You get the Barrier Thorn: Nirvana by having the TT99 Barrier Thorn Gutbreaker and 100 Rapture crystals, usually runs about 200Mill+(Depending on the price of rap crystals on your server). That's IF you're inpatient and want to buy it right away ;P. I suggest you to farm it XD or, farm half and buy half.

    2. Ocean Supreme dagger : Physical attack 710-1064 , Barrier Thorn: Nirvana : 603-904 (Both without refines) and also with Rank 8 daggers the add-ons give you an extra 370 more physical attack. But... Nirvana dags give you the sexy -10 int so it's your choice.. If you want aps or sexy damage.

    3. Depends on your gear. But even sage sins can be 5 attacks per second and they don't even have demon spark.

    To be honest, sadly I would rather go Rank 8. It's far more cheaper (If you want to save monies) and in the end in my opinion it is better.

    Rank 8 = Around 72$ U.S.D
    Nirvana= Around 200Mill coins + *again depending on the price of rap. crystals*. Or (250Mill+ if you do not have TT99 Barrier Thorn Gutbreaker dags). One last thing, if you really want those Nirvana dags I would wait till 2x drop comes back then start living/sleeping/eating in Nirvana till you get everything you need :D.

    The damage difference depends about 99% on the other gear you have, due to the nature of -interval. Also, whether you're making a "fair" comparison in terms of cost or if you're ignoring cost. After all, with 200,000,000 more, you'll be comparing a +0 Barrier Thorn: Nirvana to a +10, 2x Garnet Gem'ed Ocean Supreme Dagger.

    Oh come on, would people please stop saying this? The only way to get 5 aps on a Sage sin is to have all pieces of -interval and use Wind Shield. However, Wind Shield is not infinite.

    Though, it's not like 5 aps leads to the best dps, since R9 on either Sage OR demon will be better than 5 aps on a Demon.[HTML][/HTML]

    Bumps in off-topic : GO FOR IT SKAI!!!

    On topic : the g13 vana daggers are nice ofc, but they only outdamage r8 when refines and/or your stacked -int gets high. You can't easily compare which one is better without looking at the rest. Overal, both seem to be pretty close.

    on the aps thing : yes you need vana daggers to get to 5 aps (unless you use fists ofc). Sage you need -0.1 int on daggers (+wind shield) and demon you need -0.05. This is considering you got all -int armor and tome there is. However, like said before, don't make aps your only focus. It leads to fist sins and TT80 sins with r8 plate, that on purpose gimp their damage just to have more aps.

    It really depends on what build you're after. Let me give you some examples. I'm sage with the barrior thorn nirvanas +10 hitting at 4 aps. I also have the R8 dags at +5. if it wasnt for te interval on the nirvana dags i would doing around the same dps with either daggers. my r8s have a lower low end and a higher high end then the nirvanas.My friend Bourn is demon and has his R8s to +10 and also hits at 4aps. With out a doubt he deals more damage then me. but together we make a farming drem team. we both deal awesome dps (him a bit more like I said) But we've got sage bloodpaint all the time and sage subsea (50% amp). combinding my subsea with his powerdash and both of us dpsing we kill every boss in FC before our first spark runs out with the exception of the sleeper and the hnds boss. we stop there to sell the rooms

    Fact is, you cannot maintain it permanently. So it's not really 5 aps. And it's not like going from 4 aps to 5 aps is really meaningful. Hell, if I had 4 aps as a Sage, I'd much rather use another EP over Windshield.

    Though, I'd still take a Rank 8 dagger over Barrier Thorn: Nirvana, assuming that costs are a factor. Then you'd be comparing this to this. And that's being generous. The first has an average DPS of 86,111 whereas the latter has an average DPS of 65,705. Especially awesome since 2.86 aps allows an easy permaspark.
