150,000 dragon points for a lame mount?

as title says... they finally throw us a new item in the Dragon Point rewards, and it ends up being a lame mount that costs 150,000 points. I've never spent a single Dragon point since it came out and im still at only 22,000 so to get 150,000 i'd have to grind my way to level 85 or so. Its just not a realistic number. And not worth a silly mount.

Suggestion thread, so i have to make a suggestion.
I suggest removing the 150k mount off the rewards and adding something useful. for less.
for example: high level potions!!! for level 70+ previously not available except from monster drops now available as a dragon point reward.
or something else that is actually USEFUL.
Look up the word "useful" PWE. stop giving us ****. make playing this game for ridiculous amounts of time more rewarding. It's not like I'm asking for free money or free exp.
I want potions. or even "weaker than bronze" charms. but telling us to get 150k points for some stupid horse. its a slap in the face considering how long we've been waiting for something useful from the dragon points.

actually i have to agree with the point of your post.
for the cost of the horse, which can't be traded, you could get 150 event points and just get something useful from the event boutique AND a mount.

i would love so see more interesting stuff in the dragon point system and am very surprised that potions aren't already in them.

and as for charms, maybe not platinum charms. but emerald and silver charms would be a nice addition b:beg

i kinda argee with your rant. the DQ point system has been on more than long enuf to have more useful items. when it first came online i was hoping for things like pots, bronze charms (cos i don't even see anyone using them anymore lol), specal gear that when the full set is equipped you get bonuses (not the same retardedly goldly bonuses as r9 of course), and maybe even mats (not like you can sell them if you got them from the dq reward list right?).

but no even in the face of so many obvius items that could be great addtions to the DQR, nothing has been added. and i'm not even counting that mount cos no one in their right mind would get it lol

Why does it have to be removed? It's not bothering you by just existing there, you're not forced to get it. If you're gonna suggest something, whatever it is don't need to replace the mount.

No offense, but other people do like the mount, and your wants don't come before them, nor vice versa.

However, I do agree that it's a bit too expensive. b:surrender

at the very least give it a realistic price... cuz for what it costs u could get several mounts.

i personally don't see the worth of a mount like that. i fly most places and spend lots of time grinding or doing BH/TT

so to me, potions hold much higher value than a mount that would take me months of playing to get. but yeah i guess if u have one, u have bragging rights...

so to make amends. don't "remove it." but seriously, 150,000 DQ points?
how about something realisticly possible for the average gamer. 50,000?

but the point of my post wasn't neccesarily to rant about the lame mount.

the point was that there is nothing of value in the DQ Rewards and they finally added something... and it ended up being an overpriced ridable "trophy."

how about those little packs that are level specific and give you 5 of a level specific type of potion? those could be pretty cheap. and i can guarantee that at higher levels they would get a LOT of use. non-tradeable potions? who's that going to hurt?
non-tradeable "weak" charms. (i'm talking really weak, like weaker than bronze charms)

my question is why the "junk?"
and why NOT something we can use?

find one person to defend the mount and i'll agree.
its an old mount with a new color.

    WooHOO

thanks for playing the devils advocate but honestly i don't think anyone is willing to spend 150k on this mount when they can just as easily get 150 event boutique points to spend on more useful stuff and... Yes... mounts... that go just as fast... and some of em even look... you got it... THE SAME.

did i over-use the "..." cuz i wanted to express how annoyed i am.
sorry if it made my post harder to read or more meticulous to read to the end. b:surrender

Well the biggest problem in PWI is that nobody is really farming the DQ-items anymore + they have reduced the drop rates of DQ mats to make people more gold dependant.

While i partly agree that most of the DQ-point items for sale are useless you should not forget that all of the items there come for free so at least you can get some bound fashion through the event boutique if you really save up

Personally, I agree with you. I got bored, and I wanted to find out the cost of how much it would cost to buy dq items that gave 5 points a piece. And the cost of it was...just way over the bar. You could buy 3424 better mounts with that kind of money.

Besides that, I would really love to see some potions or charms, or something useful. The list as it is right now, I probably won't buy anything because I don't have any use for it. Hopefully the list gets more items added.

To the OP, it's not like you are being FORCED to get that mount. Just spend the dq points on stuff that would actually be of good use to you.

    what are you talking about??
there isn't anything useful that you can buy with the dq points that's remotely worth the money...

Money? What money? I wasn't aware there was money involved with DQ points. I can get as many DQ points as I want and I don't spend coins to get them, I gain coins.

I find the chi stones for my genie useful and the occasional free makeover scroll is nice. So it's not all useless junk. I bought a pig with all my DQ points once just to waste it and stick on my Wizard. You don't like the big golden horse don't get it. If you waste that much time farming the DQ points for it and selling it all to a NPC, you should have enough coins to by a mount you actually like. I agree with the fact that pwi could be more creative with the "new mounts" and come up with something that isn't recycled junk.
