HELP! Cant Read Compass Headings

Does anyone else have problems seeing the compass headings?

I posted pics from daytime with a bright background, and nightime with a dark background. The background doesnt seem to make much a a difference, its nearly inpossible to read either way.

Is there a way to adjust this or change the color of the compass headings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Just revert back to the other way to use the compass when you will know which way is what due to it not moving about as you look another direction, hit the button under the encyclopaedia at the left side of the map.

    It's pretty easy for me, you should be used to where N,S,E,W is by now.

    Thank you for the replies. :)

    Im not interested in changing it back to the other way. Im old school, and I like a real compass. I would prefer to find a solution for the problem, rather than another concession. The compass headings used to be fine in the old GUI, its just since the change is almost impossible to read sometimes.

    Mods/GM's, do you know if there is a way to adjust the contrast/colors on the compass? Or any other way around this dilemma without switching back to the old gui in the ini or using the non-compass compass setting?

    change to the old theme then? i think frankie post somewhere how to do it

    changing back to the old UI theme does NOT fix this. i play that way, and have the same exact problem. everything inside the minimap circle is still drawn the way it is in the new-style UI, even if everything else (mostly) looks the good old-fashioned way.

    I always favored the map and Alt+click and coordinates from forum hints (long live Ence and other quest helpers for their guides!) over minimap.
