idea for next expansion (after genesis)

ok so here is my idea. im thinking of a jaapanese style race. in this race u can customize EVERYTHING. u can choose a half animal appearance and u can add and take as much as u want from it. add ears or tail or face or claws or hads or feet or the chest or legs of the animal u choose. and interchange animal pieces like if u like the tiger tail better but i have wolf ears u can have both. then offer the basic customization level for the human bits. as well the animal bits have complete color and size customization. the classes are samurai as the basic melee and ninja as the long range nuker. i have thought of using japanese names for the races and class so samurai and shinobi instead of ninja. as well as for the npc names and techniques. samurai will (obviously) wield katana and shinobi will wield kunai and shuriken (also obvious). anyone who likes this idea sign plz this will be kinda like a petition.

    Hm, interesting but i think there no more new race in the future.
    Because 5 elemental rules in PW is already complete (china elemental rules) :
    Human [fire] - Elves [metal] - Untamed [wood] - Earthguard [earth] - Tideborn [water]
    Already complete 5 of them, if there another expansion it would be new class i think. b:thanks

    Might be possible that there will come a 'superior' godlike race bound to no element though...
    Or other stuff. Ah, well, who knows how long PW will last.

    To OP:

    Hmm, well... since this is a Chinese game (even it it's played by thousands of manga/anime//japanese fans) I don't think they'd add a 'Japanese race'.

    Anyway you could develop your race a bit more (background story, name, skills, aerogear et cetera)

    Usually i don't mind a new race suggestion as long it's have good descriptions and with game balance in mind. When i heard earthguard presenting earth element, the first that come to my mind is china 5 elemental rules. b:thanks

    Well actually if you go far west and far north it says (Upcoming)
    And you can actually see more land looks like north is wind and west is... a new fire like.. a all fire type race I would guess cause it's nothing but desert.
    and before genesis it also said (Upcoming) in the south and boom theres Genesis lol

    Hahahaha... I laughed at the idea. It's so Naruto-like that it's totaly absurd to ad to a fantasy mmorpg like this one. I would agree with MoonUsagi for the elements thing, but the element thing is just absurd too. There is no something like races presenting elements, because we have untamed that use both physical (bleed) damage, and wood. Earthguard use everything but earth, because mystics use wood damage, and seekers are physical users, so we should kinda put that idea away because it's not something that's very possible, but "could be".

    Anyway, I was thinking about this topic for last few days, and seem to have some ideas. What we can see if we go and try other games published by pwe, we can see that some ideas are taken from one game, and used to others, so we can and should expect it to happen to pwi. One more thing we should notice is that there is almost all kinds of classes in pwi, that are in other games.

    [Humans]
    Blademaster (aka Warrior) - Standard melee physical fighter.
    Wizard (aka Mage) - Standard ranged magic user, uses 3 elements, as in most other mmorpgs.

    [Winged Elves]
    Archer - Regular ranged physical damage dealer, uses arrows 'n bolts fused with elemental magic to disrupt and damage opponents.
    Cleric (aka Priest) - Standard healer, concentrated on healing.

    [Untamed]
    Barbarian - Pretty regular tanking class, united with lots of armor and threat to protect his friends.
    Venomancer (aka Hunter) - Uses different animals that (in pw) range from regular beasts to elementals and even humanoids.

    [Tideborn]
    Assassin (aka Rogue) - Usual class for "exterminating" casters, that hides in shadows and attacks from behind.
    Psychic - Another ranged elemental user.

    [Earthguard]
    Seeker - Another Blademaster class, that is even more Blademaster than Blademaster, because they use only and only swords. Like another warrior class.
    Mystic - A Combination of Support/Healer, that can overall help the team to make the dungeon go well, because of supporting aoe heals, and ressurection buff.

    Ok, so now, what we have to thing about, is what other games have, and pwi doesn't, than say it, and hope they add it. ^^

    First, races and classes... I wouldn't look at classes in JD much, because it's so confising to me, but you can if you wish to. I'll make a a list.

    [Heroes of Three Kingdoms]
    There are no classes in HOTK, but we can use some weapon ideas from HOTK later.

    [Legend of Martial Art]
    I didn't play it much, but I don't think there is much new things.

    [Ether Saga Online]
    Well, all races id Ether Saga are pretty same. They'll get new race, that's pretty useless for pwi. Shama would be usable here, like s melee wood damage user that can heal.


    [Jade Dynasty]
    Ok... so here I have only one idea... Rayan. A class that uses scythe or little scythes, better 2 scythes (just to add new weapon). This class is much lie assassin, but can duplicate, and that's what I like here.

    [Battle of the Immortals]
    Well, only champion falls to my mind here. A melee class, that uses "holy" powers to damage and heal.

    [Forsaken World]
    Here is something that I noticed playing this game. New nonusual classes: Vampire and Bard. Vampires are non gonna sattisfy players much, so we should less likely expect them to add vampires. Else, Bards would be a good choice in my opinion as a class. Bard seems to me as a symbol of traveling, witch comes like a good idea with pwi's large world.

    Now for Races. I think there is pretty much to use from Forsaken World: Dwarfs, Gnomes, Goblins, Orcs, Werewolfs, Stonemen... well.. no werewolfs ^^ (A friend of mine told me it would ruin the game... shhhhhhh...)

    {[Dwarfs 'n Gnomes]}

    Personally, I think dwarfs or gnomes would be great choice, as a technological race. I think we all remember little mechanical crabs somewhere on the beach, in northeastern part of the map. Well, that means, the world isn't only magical and physical, but also a technological (Otherwise, how do they make all the popular "Fashions if it's not with technology?").

    [Classes]

    So as one class I would choose an alternative to archer, called a shooter, marksmen, or similar. This new class should be using a gun as his main weapon, and maybe some bombs, grenades, or something like that.

    The other class would be a paladin-like class, that uses power of technology to do physical or better, earth element damage, and heal a little. This class can be the lord of all elements as well... Well, I would call this class a Paladin, but a Shaman would do good too, if we change it's style to wood element user.

    [Mounts]

    With technology comes new ideas for mounts. Well, mounts added, can vary from cars, motocycles, and bycicles, to different types of mechanical "robo" animals.

    [Aerogear]

    Well, you can guess the same as me, Helicopters, Airplanes, Mechanical Glides, Rockets, Jet Packs (I liek these), and lots more.

    [New Crafting Skills]

    You can guess, WoW's best:
    > Engineering!!! This Crafting skill would be used to make bombs , dynamites, bullets, guns and similar, just for the use of mentioned shooter class. As well, other classes can get the skill to use those bombs manually, to deal damage to enemies. Else, you can make different items, like fighting, and healing, or maybe trapping pets 'n summons. You can make items for refiling mana, and health, as well as "thundering" life back to a dead player. What do you think about jumping and flying, time limited, gadgets? OMG, this idea is soooooo awesome, and bad thing is that it's pretty WoW-like. nvm, What do you thing about weapon improvements, with different effects, mechanical rings, boots, armours and similar... (well, I don't say all of this should be)

    {[Stonemen}]

    Well thinking ahbout stonemen-like class, there is not much to be creative about. Large walking stones, that go around and crush like "everything" by their foot? Well, we can pretty much call the "elementals". What new should this race bring, is new tanker, and one more just random class (I'll need some time to think about it).

    [Classes]

    First Class, is as you can already guess> Protector. Another tanking class..? well.. why should we steal barb's job. Why not make it a supporter? Melee, class that uses earth element skills, in combination with elemental shields, to be a "mage-type" boss tanker. Hmmm... well, another tanker, but this one is not so resistant to physical damage but is to elemental. This one could use anti magic shields, similar to cleric's Plume Shell, that drain mana for all magic damage received, at the cost of elemental damage reduction. Aoe defence increas buff would do a good job for this class. For weapons, he/she would use regular hammers, OR, shields. Yes, shields. Shields can be used as weapons? Yes in pwi :P

    Other class can be similar to psychic, just concentrated on earth elemental damage. Can trap, stun, slow, and crush emenies from distance. Can buff friends with elemental damage reduction, physical damage redustion, or something else. (My brain is on FIRE). Weapons?... can use staff. Could summon elemental pets as well.

    [Mounts]

    With stones ingame, mounts need to be BIG. Well, I would leave this topic to pw designers, I don't want to steal all their jobs.

    [Aerogear]

    Well, this one is even harder. What flies, and is strong enough to carry a large stone in Armor? Well, only BIG thing can do it. Well, maybe we can think about something new. Let's say, a BIG floating stone! b:laugh

    {[Overall news]}

    Well, if we forget about adding classes, we can add new things, like weapons, crafting skills, spells, quests, territories, genies... etc.

    [Weapons]

    As new weapons, I would like to add shields. Well, how is shield a weapon? Well, I didn't mean a shield is a weapon, but is a weapon item, united with different exes, swords, hammers, and clubs... To be more precise: We all know that there is no equipement slot for a shield. Well, what I was thinking, shield can be added as a set of weapon and a shield. This would be the weapon item, that increases your resistance, and shoul have lower damage than pure weapon item. Should be used for tanking.

    Another ranged weapon idea would be a throwing spear, dagger, shuriken, or similar. I saw some mobs throw items at me, so I thought that could be a good idea.

    For a magical weapon, I would suggest a magical mace (we already have a magical sword, so why not a mace).

    More for weapons, I mentioned already, Double scythes could be used by assasins.

    [Quest]

    I think quests are lucking fun. I'd be happy if quests can be more interactive, like escort quests, and similar. I saw something like escort quest in LOMA, so I know they can make it.

    {[Enough]}

    Well, I think this is enough from me. Don't tell me that I want to make pwi be WoW, I'm aware of it, I just think the idea is to learn some things from wow that are good, and creative, and maybe, pwi becomes better than wow.

    I think They could create a dark mode where you can play as the opposing team and be evil and create a specific race or class/s
    if it was one class it could be a class whith a range of melee and magical attaks and buffs or one magical class with a range of magical and healing and summoning demons or dark lords
    and the melee can have a buff that alows them to call upon shadows or demons to aid them in battle ir strengthen there wepon and there aero gear could be
    Dark clouds or shadows or beams or light to reprisent dark vs light or fly on demons or just have smoke around them giving them the ability to hover and fly :D

    If there is a new update they should name it:Perfect World International: The War Begins OR Perfect World International:The Battle of Factions OR Perfect World International: The Dark Side. You can think of many more names I guess but I think you understand the point: Good and Evil option.
    1.) Those two *Factions* would have stat advantages: Good:+Defense -Att.Speed +Damage. Wizard/Tank like... Evil:-Defense +Att.Speed +Dex/Crit.Strike (Assassin like)...
    2.) Each good/evil *roads* will have a multi/specializing skills. Like...
    GOOD: Fighting Spirit : Inrease total hp/mp damage
    Holy Guard: Call upon a holy spirit attacking and protecting you with buffs/dmg absorb
    Bless: Inrease Def/Att ( 5/10/15/20/25/30) % for 3/5/10/15/30/60 seconds.
    EVIL:
    Blood Thirst: +Att.Speed + dex (5/10/15/20/25/30) % for 3/5/10/15/30/60 seconds.
    Drain: Drain hp/mp success rate (10/13/15/20/30) % each att (mag or phys) percent drained (3/5/8/10/15/20).
    Many more of course. All of those skills have a high cooldown of 5-30min(including the added ones) now the specializing class skills... I bet you can already think of those no need to write but all exept from mage. My idea of mage is a high defense(like 75% more) mage with passive skills called:Frozen Sheild, Spirit of fire, Earth Maximize.
    Frozen sheild: mag def
    Spirit of fire:hp
    Earth Maximize:phys def
    also some active skills: Water Reflection,Wind flow, Lightning Body.
    Water Reflection: damage back max 20% 40% success rate /10%/90%
    Wind Flow:Flowing wind makes u have more avoidability coz enermie's hits get *moved* in the air coz its... flowing. (away from you)
    Lightning body:lightning covers you for a 10% chance for 1 sec stun.
    Good and Evil classes would have a little different skills (good mage brighter coulours, damge higher, higher cast dark mage the opposite) and some completely other skills(maybe they are the specialized or special ones...)
    Also I would game the game having teleport... all classes like
    Mage:Teleport
    Cleric: Lightning speed (rush very fast to a direction)
    Barb: Tiger jump
    Assassin: Shadow rush (like lightning speed)
    phych: Teleport
    mystic: teleport
    BM/Seeker: Dash (lightning speed)
    Archer:Lightning speed :P
    Veno: Teleport
    also it would be great if they had no cooldown like on Maplestory (mmorpg game)

    There is already the 5 elements, if there going to make anymore charecters its going to be classes but I don't think thats in the future. If they were to make a new char I think they would do a warrior in the human race with a sheild. It would be the only class with both high phy def and magic def and use a mix of light and heavy armor. The char your thinking of making sounds too much like a barb.     uumm what about a winged air class? that uses weather magic as a class, a messanger class that minors in metal magic and bows and built for speed. and anything else or anything better, and the city for the class could be on the northern or western terrain of the map that hasnt been used yet and the city is in the sky and of course there should be a mountain staircase leading to it for non aerials. and the story could be like some kind of evil has ben released and they have to decend from the sky to assist the earthen world. kinda like angels... they diff should have a healing class for the race.idk thats my idea
