3rd time the charm?

I recall a thread recently... Someone asked if it was a good idea for them to leave PWI, and go on to better things. And I was honest, and didn't troll, and told them that it wasn't worth staying.

And now, I find myself unable to log in for more than 10 minutes at a time and do anything productive. All I can do is grind for DQ, which is so boring, I basically get to where the mobs are, and alt-tab out of the game, and start watching Anime or movies, and... By the time I remember that I got to the mobs... PWI client has crashed.

I've done an FCC, a TW, and a BH69... That's it... in the last 9 days.

So... Now that the devs are starting to do the exact opposite of what I've suggested they do for 2 years now (which is balance the classes, by just all out nerfing classes, it looks like), I think it's time for me to quit PW for the third time. There will be no 'quitting sale', or 'free stuff giveaway', so don't get your hopes up.

R9 medals are... Expensive. It's not worth it to spend $1000+ on R9 on one character, which a large number of people have already achieved it for... $82, give or take a little.

The last expansion was half-assed, and that's if you look at it optimistically. Wanmei is doing everything wrong, the player base here is power leveling and making it difficult to find enjoyment in this game, and the GM's here... They may try, but... None of us here really have a ****ing clue what they're doing because they never tell us anything, and really, I'm not okay with that. If I'm spending money on something, I don't like being kept in the dark about it. And that's part of why I have curtailed my spending on this game.

I may be a drop in the ocean, and I'm sure some people here will say 'QQ moar', but... I don't really care. Nobody here listens, and I'm tired of saying the same thing over and over and never being heard. Blizzard will get my money.

BH is impossible to find, TW isn't fun anymore, and FCC's are a pain in the *** to find. You want to keep people playing, make this game fun, and not a stupid pointless and boring experience. Watching Naruto Dubbed is more enjoyable than playing PWI at this point, and that's... Pretty awful.

    i dont think im far behind you. im not quitting...but im deffinatly not putting any more money into this game. i keep hearing aboutt his r10 thing coming in a few months. if that happens maybe they will make r9 rediculously easy to obtain as they did with r8. if that happens i might still play. but im not counting on it, and when r10 comes out (assuming what ive been hearing is correct) i will most likley be quitting shortly after as im sure they do **** over 90% of the people during that time. and i always land in that 90%

    I know r10 is there but not accessable anyways I dun really care truthfully. If as my veno I can have rank8 and pwn rank9's that are to stupid to play their class right. or play on a diff server on my archer w/o rank8 yet and still kill r9's in general with minimal effort. Jus by PLAYING my class as it is ment to be. It really makes me wonder. WTF is wrong with ppl ijs.

    What made me proud to play the game was how versatile I was with my BM. My fingers fricken flew! and I was awesome and felt good about it.

    Now they add a glitch that messes up channel canceling so skills proc late after the attack landed and the game becomes too one dimensional.




    Going to try to find my interested back but I can't see investing in a game that adds glitches and simplifies itself into 2 button auto attack spam. GL in the real world Sarra

    Not everyone is on a PvE server. Honestly with how boreing this game is PvE wise i dont understand why anyone is on a PvE server. but over here in Harshlands although their are idiots that cant play thier class everywhere you go but most of us over here are wearng our big boy pants and know how to PK. the R9s that know what they are doing are kind of a problem.

    With how boring this game is PVE and PVP it's no wonder not everyone is on a private server. Get better then r9 instantly and you can do the same thing as you do here, sit at west and silver pool and talk ****. At least in a lot of them it's free. The ones that i will leave nameless also have open world content where we have to look over our shoulders if we want to gain items. Thats when pk get's real fun. Only problem there is no tideborn/genesis and while some may love that i fell in love with my Psy :(

    I have done my time on all servers I see no difference in the playerbase. As it is the newer idiots are just that idiots. The truely skilled players are far less common now then they use to be. I say this as a basis for people that know how and can and don't need to rely on just aps or just this or that, and can actually play. A good rank8 can beat a r9 when they play the class right. That is how that is. in a 1v1 if you do play as you are ment to and have a common sense based build. you can do far more then somebody who is willing to pay but not able to play simply put.
    People that have paid and can play are far more fun to pk against. then idiots who can't.

    Says the guy from HT with no avatar. Ever played on harshlands? Try to PK Nurfed or BanZzok or UrDian and tell me how that goes for you.

    tip if thats the same go d rodger he is a OG player from a long time ago. This means that he is far more experienced then you are. I had heard his last account has been banned this would prove that. If I am accurate. He was one of the best bm pkers on HT at that time. Dun discredit what he says however he is right to an extent. Not entirely but for the aspect of what he talks about. There are far fewer skilled pkers on other servers. However that doesnt mean they don't exsist. Read what is said rather then what you presume to be said.

    About my avatar, GM are powerless against my awesomeness thats why they cant fix anything including my name. I am The Pirate King, I left it all there, in that place, One Piece.     I'm gonna do what I did the last time I quit. I'm going to do something else for a while. If PWE can unstuff their heads from their asses, I may come back. I've invested a lot of time and effort into my characters... But... It's not worth additional time and effort if I'm spending 2 mil a day shouting on WC looking for an FCC squad and nobody is answering.

    I think, though... It may take a rather long time for me to come back this time. The playerbase... Has become too stupid, too hungry to get to 100+, and too uncaring of anything but 'me, me, me' for this to be a genuine, enjoyable experience anymore. It's effecting me, I don't want to help guild members anymore, I don't want to help random people anymore, I don't want to form squads anymore, I don't want to answer questions for guild member anymore. I used to be the first one to jump in and do that stuff, I'd drop what I was doing, short of abandoning a squad, to help people. Now... I look for any excuse to not help people.

    I see it so much in other people. I get to the head hunter, grab the school teacher quest, see a local for 'BH69', whisper them to invite me, and often times get a rude '**** you, I'm not forming a squad, you invite me *****' reply.

    It's getting to me, and has taken the fun out of the game.

    Gear has made the game a good means for dealing with bipolar. The 'I gotta have this!' half of Bipolar is easily satiated by acquiring gear with in-game coins. I can farm those while more level, and thus, I had (about 5 months ago), an archer that was level 22 and every legendary bow from Moonlight Bow to Windtaker, already made, with shards, refines, and my name on them. I skipped the uber rare crossbow that's nearly impossible to get the mold for.

    Rank gear... Is the opposite, past about Rank 4. It's damn hard to farm that, and the coins for it... Well, when Rank is really cheap, I don't see a problem with it. When badges are 30k a pop... Not such a good thing. Never-the-less, I farmed Rank 4 on my Archer and Sin, and saved up the money for Rank 6 for both of them past that. I just felt... Again... That it took most of the fun out of the game.

    I find it ironic... That they fixed a glitch, by breaking the skills that were being glitched. Epic Win. Now every BM, weather they glitched or not (I learned how, even created a macro to do it for me, but never used it), is now rendered more useless by this in PVE and PVP. I'll say that I frowned on Glitching, but... I tried it, and to be honest, I saw no point in doing it. Maybe my BM was too low of a level... Maybe my Sin is too OP of a build (my Sin has 1.67 APS at level 80, my BM, by contrast, is 1.54 APS at the same level). I found Sin to be a breeze compared to BM... But, then I found BM to be a breeze at times compared to Sin. Maybe I just stopped playing BM a while back, and when I tried playing her again, I forgot what worked, or a patch somewhere in there changed something and I didn't know.

    The real world is a dreadful, boring place. Though... I have a sports car, and live in a place with winding, twisty roads. I think I'll manage.
