When Infernia meant by dead is that Kylin was nowhere on the map prior to map reset. Kylin did come back in fullswing however it looks like it's going to be all for naught
Do you read at all? A faction doesn't die just because they don't have any land. Even if Crimson takes all our lands, which they won't, Kylin will still be Kylin.

Kylin died, then resurected. Im not disputing anything else, christ, just accept that you had no presence whatsoever for a time (This does not mean only the map), I.E you were ****ing DEAD.
Man, next youl tell me Crimson were not dead that whole time around the TB expansion when they didnt have any presence (Map or otherwise) either.... Or that Kingdom isnt dead.0 -

Its a different level of life / activity, but you have a point. In scale to its norm, Numnums is alive and kicking. If you measure it on the same scale you would factions like Kylin, Valhalla etc its dead, yes.

Factions like Blackfox and Zulu that still have one or two players hanging around, despite them being comparably empty and presence free... Would be considered dead no? (Blackfox maybe a little less so).0 -

Ok if your heart stops beating you died. For it to be an analogy instead of a random sentence, it has to relate to what you are talking about. Heart beat in this case in analogous to...? Having people in the faction? KD is dead because there's no longer anyone in KD. Kylin certainly always had people and was never down to 0. So losing some people would just be the heart slowing down? If heart beating is having land, then the heart of all but 10 factions on the server are not beating, so they are dead?

Kylin was never like BF and current Zulu because Kylin always had at least 30 active members at even the lowest point. If Kylin was down to a couple of people, it magically gained back all the people on map reset?

19, and I apparently suck at getting my point across in text. **** it, Kylin never ever had any trouble, theyve always been perfect, never held any false values and sure as hell dont have some of the largest pricks in the game in-faction.0 -

Kylin never DIED. They lost a LOT of members to Zulu, and some to even Crimson who wanted to fight again Zulu. We lost many TK members during the KD time after we were pushed off the map by KD that joined Zulu to fight KY. Sure, we lost about 6-10 members there. You call that dieing?

Make a faction with a small group of OP people to earn money from land (Insanity is one of them) or 3. Quitting the game/leaving cuz a ton of people were and they were scared Crimson WOULD die, so they left early.

And Kylin isn't the same Kylin as it was last year when I started playing. Things change, people change. Death is merely a rebirth, and Kylin has rebirthed. Get over it. Okay..I just want to throw this out there. A faction does not die unless all of its members leave it. The members that have been there to begin with, that would stay with the faction through thick and thin, that would strive and try everything they could to keep it alive. When there are people like this in a guild, it doesn't die.
And a faction with no land is definitely not a non-factor, nor would it die simply because it was taken off of the map. Look at Mayhem. They're alive, and are having 3 hour TWs with AfterLife, and they've been "wiped off of the map" before.
Also, just because they've been kicked off the map doesn't mean they still can't bid on another faction and enter Territory War. I just don't agree with your views on how a faction is a "non-factor" and how it "dies". If Kylin were to, not saying they ever will, bid on Catalyst and Catalyst is up against Valhalla, Crimson, your mom and they all enter TW, then they're definitely a factor, because people WILL show up to Kylin's TWs, as long as there are people in the guild that care enough to.
Which, at the moment, they do care enough. Hence why their wars are about three hours long.
In my opinion, it hasn't died. It has just gone through generations, and even if they do lose all of their land (I don't see why they would if they can keep defending) then they can always keep bidding. All hope doesn't die when a factions land goes "byebye".0 -
