Ok heres the thing:

I lend my friend 90m so he buys something.

He buys it for 85m cash, and gives me it so i sell it.

I sell it for 115m. (115-85=30m total profit on the thing)

So , from the money i take 90m so he pays me (115-90)=25m

I give him 20m and keep 5m cuz of selling work.

But profit was 30m b:shocked

WHERE IS THE OTHER 5M b:angryb:surrenderb:pleased

I upload a vid of me in my boxers, 750 views.

    The missing 5mil is in the 5mil he kept from buying something for 85mil instead of the 90mil you gave him.

    Nope, from total value 115m i took my 90m, all i lend him, so theres 25m left. the selling cost is for the teles, and just cuz i want :D

    You used 85mil to convert to 115mil but you kept 90mil away (instead of 85mil). Thats basically where the problem lies. If you expand your problem, there's no loss in money.

    Starting amount: Assuming your friend has 0 coins, you have 90m.
    Ending amount total should be 120m because of 30m profits.

    I lend my friend 90m so he buys something.

    Friend = 90m; You = 0m

    He buys it for 85m cash, and gives me it so i sell it.

    Friend = 5m; You = 85m

    I sell it for 115m. (115-85=30m total profit on the thing)

    Friend = 5m; You = 115m

    So , from the money i take 90m so he pays me (115-90)=25m

    Friend = 5m; You = 90m + 25m

    I give him 20m and keep 5m cuz of selling work.

    Friend = 25m; You = 90m + 5m

    Ending total = 25 + 90 + 5 = 120m, tallied

    The total value is 120mil. The original 90mil plus the 30mil profit = 120mil. Simple maths.

    3 guys walk into a hotel and want to get a room for the night
    clerk at the desk says it's going to cost $30
    Each guy takes out a $10 bill and hands it to the clerk

    They go to bed and everything is fine
    Next morning..

    Guy at the desk comes to their room and says he made a mistake, the room was only supposed to cost $25
    So clerk dude gives the 3men 5 $1 bills
    Each man takes $1 and gives the clerk a $2 tip for being honest

    So.. each man paid $10, but got a dollar back so they each paid $9. $9 times 3men = 27 dollars.. + the $2 tip = $29. What happened to the 30th dollar?! b:shocked

    Your logic is wrong. The room cost $25 + $2 tips. The 3 person paid a total of $27. Nothing is wrong with the problem.

    It's just a simple logic problem posed to students. It shows what happens when you do math out of order.

    NOW HERES THE REALL HARD ONE TO SOLVE

    3 businessmen walk into a hotel one night.
    The clerk tells them it's $15 for a room.
    Each man pitches in a $5 bill to pay the clerk the total $15 (3 X $5 = $15)
    The men go up to their room....

    Uh-oh, the clerk realizes he forgot to give them the $5 business discount.
    So he hands the bellboy five 1 dollar bills, and tells him to take it up to the guys' room.

    1/2 way up to the room, the bellboy decides to pocket $2 dollars for himself.
    He gets to the room, and tells the 3 guys there was a discount, and hands them each a $1 bill.


    SUMMARY: Each guy got back 1 dollar(from the original $5), so each spent $4 for the room. 3 X $4 = $12.
    ...Plus the $2 in the bellboys pocket = $14. What the hell happened to the other dollar?
