Fail. When I'm cubing on my sin, and I happen to hit room 11/32 and someone pops in. I will PM them from stealth and offer them 3 songs, one of which has to be chosen and sung to me for the duration of their stay in said room. Or they may be sent back to room 1. I think that's a very reasonable deal.

I think I have a screenshot of someone singing my hips by black eyed peas when I told them to in exchange for not getting killed in room 48.

Kinda funny really. Every server has it ups and downs.. But I think that our server has to be the worst in the most narcissistic, immature way possible.

Ok, considering this is extremely out of character and hypocritical coming from you, based on your own world chat behaviors and attitudes, I actually find you worth responding to for a change.

The server never lacked a distinction between players especially after the first couple months of the game's beginning. At the very start, it was the portion of players who had gained experience from the MY version of the game showing a clear distinction over the others, Radiance, Genesis, Evolution, and TheEmpire were all started by these MY players and showed an early burst above the other factions gaining at least 5 lands before any of them came under a sure form of threat. Shortly before that sure threat, was the appearance of RoC on the map, the pk goaled faction formed by a core of players who go from game to game trying out the PvP aspects of those games and growing from that direction. Not long after that, the elite factions began falling due to various reasons, Genesis simply was overpowered by RoC, TheEmpire fell due to real life and its affects on their leader, and Evolution began its decline due to them being the good guy types that you're trying to suggest the whole server was. At that point, only Radiance truly held strong as "good guys" (except on the tw field) and kept up with its expansion. RoC's leadership decided it was time to move on and abandoned the faction, simultaneously with Radiance's members tiring of the Good Guy gameplay style and Enrage was born from the former members of RoC and some of the strongest members of Radiance (who just couldn't enjoy playing carebear style anymore).

So, as you see from that, the Good Guys really only dominated the game for the first 6 months when it was most prosperous for players to play under that gameplay guise. After a few months of Enrage, Internal drama from Evolution and Radiance created an exodus from both factions and tada, Tao was born, another faction that was seen as a Good Guy guild to take down the Evil Enrage, but in reality, the early days, Tao was far from a Good Guy faction, but a highly cooperative group of higher level players with a unified goal of growth of its members and expansion of the TW scene by the intended elimination of the biggest threat on the map at the time, Enrage.

Now I'm way rambling and giving you a history lesson instead of discussing your points. All in all, "the elite" you refer to, very few got to where they were without being dicks at some point in time, it's more in the form their "selfishness" took than in whether or not they were nice. Tao was Very internalized, focused on helping themselves and pushing the members to all help each other WAY before helping any others, Radiance was focused on "being radiant" whatever that meant at whatever point in time, Enrage was focused on domination through any means necessary...

In any case, HT's great in part due to the drama, if there weren't Enrage or some parallel, there'd be much less drama... so unfun...

Dear Elemental_W,

Let's be frank - The State of the Game is SAD, Especially for this server. I do personally believe that this is due to the game playing it's corse. The fun, and luster - ended around two years ago. Now, it's became the illigetimate love-child of stupidity and greed. The Majority of old player's which are still around already have their friend groups, and cliques - or have quit due to excess bull **** that keeps happening from Sale's or just being tired of the game . The remaining majority of these players don't care what happens to others, or their point of views. So, why would they be mild-tempered? The Developer's know fully about what is going on in these games and or server's owned/ran/wallet ravaged by Perfect World L.L.C. They only care about the revenue their stocks bring in annually.

A few reasons's some of the older players still log into this game: Friends, Financial Ties or the fact that the game has become a bad addiction. A lot like someone doing drugs, a force of habit that for whatever it may be.

It's human nature, when thing's get lax: to test boundries - to see if you or the parties involved in the "bannable" action's get "BANNED" or in trouble. However, as I've seen it in the past: Depending upon how much wallet-space the person has for P.W. they will not be judged as harsh, or even nothing done about it when they break the rules. Perfect World appear's to be afraid of losing "Paying Player's" for their "Free To Play" Game. Another thing on this single point. It's also inbedded human nature: to not care for other's until they make contact: typically visual - Kinda of like the way when you deal with public, aka: a bank teller speaks to people as they come in. It make's a personal connection to that person, which help's side-step some types of robbery, theif - etc. So, with this being said: There is honestly no type of social contact within most guilds outside of the guild. Aka: The old day's of "Help a noob day" and F.B. running chat-rooms (those died when the B.H. system came out) The Boss killing, and noob adopting ended as soon as hyper's where added in after the F.F. change. Now, most guild's interaction and skill learning happens at level 100 and on, Via simple thing's like B.H.'s, and Mindless Nirvana runs. Couple that with the 5.0, and there goes most other classes besides, BM's, Sins, Barbs, and Clerics (Clerics are last on list because the better 5.0's don't need them, Barbs are second to last because the 5.0's like the buffs/devour for non 5.0 barbs)

Okay, back on Topic. The thing is this. Enrage is a actual T.W. faction, as much as they may be a sore in your side or anyone elses. As people leave, they will recruit whoever they need - and due to being Number Uno on the Heavens Tear Server they have the excess application's to make up what they lack for their "Prime Roster" Also, their Number One concern is Gear, and or personality - TW Availibity. They really don't care what people have done in the past, as long as it hasn't been against the guild itself. They don't score member's for their maturity, and honestly have no reason to. And with this being said: I think every guild is disperate for people, even if they are just "Weekend Warriors". On this note: The day's of "Respectable TW Guilds" are long gone. "Got a hax weapon, and great gear? Join us today!"
