New multi-client policy issue?

I usually have one vendor alt, and main on the same computer. But this was before update 528. Now, I read the new anouncements on the forums and it clearly says that multi-clienting is LEGAL and that you can play on 2 accounts at the same time. Now, when I open the first client, nothing happens. When I open the launcher and start it, the launcher redirects me to the already active client (which means that I can't run 2 clients on the same pc). Is this normal or is this just a new update bug?

    Yeah, I'm having the very same issue. When I try to boot up a second client, it just reopens the one already open. I assumed they weren't allowing it anymore, but then I read the new policy and am hoping its just a bug.

    I'm getting the exact same issue. Open 1st launcher, log in fine. Open launcher 2nd time and click start, launcher closes, goes back to the 1st instance I have open.

    Same here, i already tried to restart pc and same issue. Some faction friends say they can run 2 clients, weird bug =/


    Just hope it gets fixed soon cause i need alt to get cheap rep lol

    Ditto, I'm having the same issue, opened up first client, try to open second and nothing happens

    ok apparently i got it working, i ran the second one through element/elementclient.exe

    When you open PWI, are you guys using the launcher.exe or the elementclient.exe? If you're using the launcher, then I ran into the same dilemma, but if you use the elementclient.exe, then it'll open your second pwi window.

    Ummm, I'm using the exact same method that worked earlier this evening, open launcher from start menu, open client, reopen luancher from start menu. Until after this patch it has always worked for me.

    yeah same here, don't know why it doesn't work anymore. But for now I guess we're going to have to settle with just opening straight from the client :)

    Not quite sure what you mean by opening it straight from the client? I went into the PWI folder and opened it under launcher (launcher.exe) and still no joy, is that what you meant?b:surrender

    Oh I Had the same issue but a friend told me to connect directly from the documents in the elemenclient file, it will open a window and you dont have to click the start button you just gotta log on It worked for me hope it works for you :D

    Not working on this end either. How the heck am I supposed to sell wines and farm the mats for them at the same time otherwise?

    Yea i've got the same problem here but i can't open thrue elementclient.exe coz i get Error pops up. Anyway im w8ing guys from Support to solve this problem

    Myself and many others are having the same problem. PWI needs to resolve this issue immediately because it's in violation of they're new multiclient policy. I only have on PC and would run 2 accounts, one as shop while i leveled the other, now i cant do that and it's very annoying and a huge hassle to try to sell things.

    I am sure its a simple issue, someone grabbed the wrong binary prob had it in a folder they always use for making updates and when they compiled the new update we got stuck with launcher that won't allow duel launching, expect it won't be fixed till next update. Sucks none the less since I constantly play 2 accounts.

    Title pretty much says it..Anyone else unable to dual log now? I've tried launching how I normally do from my start menu and from the Launcher folder. b:surrender

    I can't either, it just tabs me into the first account I logged rather than bringing up another login screen.

    Its just the Launcher who needs a fix. If your Game is full updated go to where you have perfect world installed. Find your element folder. In that folder is an ElementClient.exe if you use that you can run more then one client.

    Yeah I copied that one to my Games Folder and called it PW Multi a while ago... The launcher never seems to work when I want to open a 2nd game so... It's not illigal to do this since you're just copying a shortcut and you're not editing any original files... Just use the launcher for the 1st client and use the sortcut for the 2nd one... b:cute
