I found my true love...in ANOTHER MMO. She's tall, slim, asian, has adorable eyes but she won't play PWI. How do I convince her to come play this game ? What features should I tell her about ? What does a cub barb do when in such a pinch ?

Suggestions would be much appreciated. b:faint

    Uhm...I've known her for almost two years. I don't want to emotionally blackmail her into playing, as she loves me very much. So, any viable suggestions ? And don't tell me she doesn't really love me just because she won't quit her old MMO. b:laugh

    On a more serious note, run while you can! Do what your name means - and leave this game, I'm sure there's better one's out there. Most of the servers have taken a serious dump. It'll get worse very soon, lol.

    Instead of spending money on this game or the B.S. Marriage Packs, go send her flowers or something in real life.

    P.S. Most women love simple stuff like that, :>.

    How about telling her about the pretty detailed customisation options, fast leveling, beautiful graphics etc? Also just remember that her having something seperate to you can be a point of difference, something to talk/argue/tease each other about, which adds to the fun of a good relationship.

    True love lasts, whereas commitment to MMOs does not. Most players will stop playing a given MMO regularly within a few years, tops.

    That being said, if you've tried to get her to play this game, and she won't, it's probably best left as is. Neither of you are likely to stick with PWI (or whatever her game is) for nearly as long as you plan on sticking together, so why make an issue of it?

    first off don't be pushy about the game. Tell her how much you enjoy the game and would like her to come and play with you. But let her decide on when. Maybe ask her to try it for a week. And leave it at that for the moment. Ask her what else she likes to play beside the game you 2 meet on.LOL trying a new game is scary at best and challenging also. It took me over 6 months to start playing PW evrey day. Point out benefits the other game don't have, like the marriage deal. Most important give her space and let her decide to come to pw. And continue to let her know how much you love her.b:quietb:quiet

    By the way, I have a friend who I hang out with irl and played another game with for 7 years...and that other game is another home for her and I don't ask her to play perfect world with me to spend time, we just hang out irl or on the other game.

    Well this strikes me rather funny... I met my current boyfriend in a round about way, through these very forums. Never met him or spoke to him in-game even though we were on the same server. Now that he's long since quit PWI and I finally went back to it a month ago, he more or less just jokes at me about PW. He's not happy with the way PWE handles things but does acknowledge it's a fun game. He and I are both gamers more or less and into the same types of things (art/3D/etc). I did try his current MMO but I just can't get into it. I did try it though, so he can't say I didn't. XD

    I think the best thing would be to have her try it out and let her form her own opinion. If she's not into it, then just let it go. My bf and I are not close just because of a game, it's more than that, and I expect your relationship is the same.

    I don't think it's a huge deal if you can't play an MMO together, although admittedly it is fun if possible. b:cute
