Just someone to waste the hours away with to do quests and whatnot. BS, mess around, y'know, socialize. lol, I've noticed PWI doesn't seem to have much in the way of...friendly community. Any time I try to approach someone my own level to see if they want to party up and hunt together, I get either no response or they tell me they're already done with the quest I'm asking them about (which in itself seems pointless, the general thing always was "help me with something and I'll help you". Guess people don't care anymore.).

MMOs used to be friendlier. Or maybe it's just PWI. I never had this sort of trouble with any other titles.

I realize solo-ing is easy enough, yeah, that's cool. But the whole reason I used to play MMOs was to meet cool people, chat and be able to relate on at least that one topic.

At this rate, seems like WoW has a better community. lol, Which is sad to me. xD

Just wanna' find someone cool to adventure with, y'know, run around, kill stuff, chat, that sort of thing. Don't really care about gear or levels or any of that stuff, just want to have fun.

Preferably with someone cool and level-headed. That's it.

Wow, that's really nice of you. You mean to tell me you haven't found a single level-headed person to talk to since you started playing ? Come to Archosaur and I'll be happy to quest with you. I have this barb myself and I'd need a questing partner to make things more fun.

Yes, sadly this game is filled with a majority that don't play this game for "fun" as it was intended, but rather, this game is nothing but a job to them. Nobody gives a damn about enjoying anything but PvP and rushing through endgame content so fast that they get bored with it ASAP and then have to **** and moan about how they don't have any new content to spend another week rushing through, only to get bored again.

Nirvana may have been out for over a year already, but honestly, if you people are so bored of it, then perhaps try doing it with a Rainbow Squad, WITHOUT 5aps. Try actually making it a challenge, and a time-consuming run done just for the fun of it with others. Same with TT, same even with Warsong and the rest of the endgame content. Stop ruining this game with your self-induced boredom and you would find this game to be that much more fulfilling.
I do random zhenning in burning heart for fun now, the exp ain't too bad either with hypers. But even without it, I still do other random stuff for fun, like help peopel at random with BH, FB, or a boss they are worldchatting for help with that I can take on.

lol at the state this game is in now compared to 3 years ago its gonna be harder than ever finding the kind of ppl to play with that u described. There r few left that play this game for fun. You'll probably come across the kind that u think u r friends with then once they out lvl u they never talk to u again because they think they r too good for u now. So this could be the wrong game lol. ( although this is probably the case for alot of mmorpg's) But like i said, this game's community isnt wut it used to be.

BonVoyage - The only reason it sounds that way is because recently I haven't met one person who would speak to me for more than five seconds. lol xD, Let alone have a conversation long enough that would enable me to somehow form an opinion of whether or not they are or are not level-headed. xD, I try to assume everyone is level-headed and respectful when I first meet them.

I am then often deeply disappointed. xD lol

My characters are all on Archosaur currently, but they're low level. I haven't had the drive to really grind them very far due to, once again, a poor community. lol

I'd love to adventure with you, just not sure what level you are. Time zone? When are you typically online, etc? ;3

Bellarie - That really is a shame. This game has all the potential of being an MMORPG super power, but with a community such as the one it currently sports, that will never happen. It was friendlier a year or two ago when I first started playing. But I guess things changed...?

TekkOneStylz - If you're not playing a game for fun...then why are you playing? xDDD

    That seems highly counter-productive. ;3

And, this is part of the reason I quit. b:surrender

Good luck, and I hope you don't turn to the dark side of power leveling like... The majority of people seem to be doing as of now.

Also, I suggest you find a good guild. That makes playing so much more fun.
    101 Sage Sin*/Archer
    100 Demon BM*/Barb
    96 Demon Cleric/Sage Seeker
    95 Demon Wiz/
    94 Sage Veno
    85 Psy/80 Mystic
And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.

Abstractive - It's not that I need help. The game, from what I've seen, is fairly easy to do by oneself with a bit of patience (coming from someone who lived the FFXIO fail of several years ago when one level could cost you anywhere between 4-8 hours of pure party grinding, often interrupted by people's schedules or the loss of a healer, thus, no level). I just want a cool buddy/friend to quest/grind with. For me, MMOs were more about the social aspect, meeting people with similar tastes and opinions. Back when the experienced players helped the newer ones out of the kindness of their hearts and people honestly strived for a friendly, outgoing environment. I guess now that sounds so far-fetched and strange. lol, Especially since people just seem to be after titles and some level of "uber"ness in-game. I don't know. lol xD, I just wanna' meet cool people and have fun.

    Too much to ask? xD

Sarrafeline - I don't really do PLing (unless I'm the PLer, lol). And even then it was more about giving help to the people that honestly needed it. I never asked for money if someone needed my help. I was always more than happy to offer it. That was originally what MMOs were about. Now it seems like no one cares.

As for guilds...I don't know. Drama. That's all I ever hear about. lol, You can't have any number of people together and not have drama at some point.

I prefer duo-ing or partying between friends and people you've come to know and grown with. Always made the MMO experience more enriching.

BonVoyage is actually my new PvE barb on Archosaur. b:chuckle

I have come to the conclusion that no matter how FUN assassins are, it's more exciting to slash away at Feral Ursogs near Silk Ridge with a barb. I never thought I'd admit that, but it's true. One-shotting stuff gets mind-numbing fast.

Yeah I know what you mean... I have the same thing on Heaven's Tear server... But Veno's are better of grinding alone... My mom's Seeker is almost as high as my Sin... And I made my Archer a Mystic to take along since Multiclienting is allowed... Other then that it's realy hard to make new friends while grinding... Don't know how it is on Archosaur server but here on Heaven's Tear they'd rather steal mobs then squad up with you... I also agree with other MMO's... I played Flyff and Wonderland online in the past and ppl where way more social there... b:surrender
