Do your 100 culti and switch. You'll need Celestial Schlesm Mold and 200 mirages.

Changing culti resets all of your Demon/Sage skills to level 10 ones. You do not get the skillbooks back either.

This is a common mistake that happens to some people that want to go sage. Believe it or not, even if you autopath to the sage NPC, it will put you on top of the demon NPC (I tested this carefully when my seeker had his 89 culti becomes someone started a rumor that EG culti was bugged). From here, one is supposed to carefully check if they have the right NPC and read the warning in the dialogue as you continue on with it (I believe they put the message in bold with many exclamation points). Once you make the mistake, you're stuck with it until you can do your 100 culti with the required items or reroll your character. Sadly, compared to most other quests, it actually helps to read the dialogue for this part of the game, so you won't make the mistake. Other quests get us so used to skipping the dialogue that we don't know what's going on b:surrender.

It's hard for me to decide whether this is the player's fault (not reading carefully) or the developers' fault (not implementing autopath correctly). Anyways, good luck with your choice and hopefully its a class whose sage/demon paths are balanced. Who knows, you might like demon on it. b:bye

l made the exact same mistake on my barb, I sent in a ticket requesting them to remove it, and they told me that they can't make any changes to the quest logs of the players.

It really sucks that both npcs are under the same roof, only the demon npc is the closest one there, allowing for a lot of room to make a mistake like this on other characters that I will... want to go sage on. It also sucks that you have to wait until level 100, and you have to be a celestial demon/sage to change the cultivation. D:

It really would be nice if they would change the location of each of the guides, demon on one side of 1k, and all the way on the other side the sage guide.

Something needs to change with it, to prevent something like this from happening again. Though it does kind of force us to buy from the boutique, even if we just buy gold from other players. So I really don't see it changing anytime soon, if at all.

I leveled so many chars past 89+ by now (both sage and demon) and i never figured out how anyone could pick the wrong culti. Its not like the NPCs are close to each other. You get a god warning before you choose to take the quest as well. It even sais that you cant go back if you accept, as far as i remember.

But i guess if you're tired and auto path it might happen. People do a lot of stupid **** when they haven't slept properly or drunk lol. They NPC their weapon/gear and customer support gets it back for them. I know people who refined but forgot to add the 10 star orb and support got them +10 back lol. So no i dont get why GMs cant just re-set a quest, they help players with other stupid mistakes.

You can of course do the culti switch at 100+ but it takes a lot of time. Its actually faster to Frost a new char to 89+ than getting access to all OHT maps and doing entire level 100 culti.

Not to point out the obvious, but they did ask you like 100 times before you chose...

But let's just hope that you are a Blademaster. You didn't make the wrong decision if you are one.

Hey, consider it a bonus, youve motivation to do all your 100 culti. I hear the Wizard 100 skills can be pretty useful. (Most people dont bother with them cos the culti sucks for most people).

How can anyone make a mistake like this? It basically asks you in BIG CAPITAL LETTERS: ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CHOOSE THE PATH OF _________ YOU MAY NOT GO BACK ONCE YOU HAVE CHOSEN.

    or something like that.....

As someone pointed out before me, 'almost all other quests, people just click through all the dialogue boxes, not caring what the story is about, and it does happen, especially having both of the npcs in the same place, and the demon npc being the one you navigate too upon going to the sage guide.

In other words as I said earlier they should really separate the location of each guide, and make sure that people navigate to the proper one. The cultivation's processes for each person can be real lengthy, and if I am not mistaken the demon chain to become a celestial demon, requires you to kill harpy wraith... arguably the hardest world boss from what I been told anyways. xD

The point is, that people do rush, and mistakes are easily made, just like not everyone can pick up a new class and play it properly. As one of my favorite saying says "Ah, mistakes are so easily made." by Laura Resnick Things do happen, and people are just that... people.... humans are flawed, and if we weren't we wouldn't be that interested in each other. =x

Fortunately, your are mistaken. Yes, there is a quest to kill Harpy for Demons only but... it's unrelated to culti and it's impossible to complete because the Harpy Wraith we know isn't the one needed for it.

I can kinda see how someone could make this mistake but I, personally, have never done it since I'm one of those people that actually read all the quest dialogues a few times over various chars.

Thank goodness for that, but obviously doesn't change the fact that culti quests seem to take forever and a day to complete all the way through.

    Thanks for the clarification/correction. :D

Yea, if only more people found those quest stories more interesting... maybe people wouldn't make these kind of mistakes. ;x

For the record, I indeed found it suspicious that he had demon in its name, but by the time I realized that it had demon it is name, I had already 'clicked' to accept his quest. D:
