Any chance at all for 2 more slots?

I know this has probably been talked about a lot, and answered, but I only come to the forum every so often, and I really don't feel like searching through 20+ pages to find a topic about this.

So anyway, I'm the kind of gamer who likes to experience all different kinds of characters in a game. I alt like crazy. I was fine with this through Raging Tide, since we had enough slots to accommodate for all characters. However, now with 10 classes, we can't have all our characters on the same server.

All I want to know is, does PWI have any plans at all to allow us to have 10 characters on one server? I have spent quite a bit of money on this game already. I left my main server though after spending over 100$ on it, due to realizing that it was a west coast server, despite me being on the east coast, so I always suffered from lag. (Yeah yeah, I know. Idiot mistake.)
Now I play on Raging Tide, and have once again spent quite a large sum of money. I have all my char slots filled, but I still want to make a Mystic and Barb. Yet, I don't want to play on Sanctuary anymore due to lag issues, but I don't want to have to restart yet again on another new server. I mean, if I absolutely have too, I will play on Sanc, due to having some resources on there. But really, I would really like to play only on one server, so all of my characters can help one another. (With acc stash, and only needing to level one chars manufacture instead of 2.)

They want you to spend money buying a acc stash stone. o_o

Except that an Acc stash stone only works across one server, not your entire account. And with 10 classes, it's impossible to have them all on one server. So, you'd have to buy 2 acc stash stones, and spend twice as long leveling/farming/manufacturing for only two more characters. Not to mention, you wouldn't be able to use your barb who is in server 2 for friends on server 1, and other issues as such.

I just think that adding two more slots would be a good idea, for the gamers like me who like to have one of every class. Sure, none of my characters are uber god level, or uber geared out, but now that I have my characters set, I am slowly making my way there. But, not being able to play two of the classes on the same server kinda irks me. (Especially now that almost all of our achievements are character level based.)

You could always create a second account to have more than 8 characters. But be warned, you can only own two accounts maximum per person, given the new rules.

The problem with making a second account is, I no longer get the achievements for my main account, and the Account stash stone still doesn't do it since they are separate accounts. I don't know about you, but the idea of waiting an hour every time I want to send items to and from those 2 characters is kind of annoying.

*sigh* Ah well... although I hope PWI does eventually add the two slots, I guess I'm just going to have to live with playing on two separate servers.

Remember that you can multiclient now, so sharing items via mailbox is not compulsory anymore (2 simultaneous max). As for items that are untradeable and that you can only put in account stash, indeed you cannot share them with the alt account.

As for achievements, the Token shop is not worth it, and I don't really care for them anymore anyway.

Why the hell do you care so much about a pithy little achievement? Serious question, because A: Its not worth the effort and B: Noone will really care if you succeed in obtaining it. Yourself excluded, for obvious reasons.

I used to alt like that on another game (allowed you to buy char slots), but I only play PWI now and I don't have time to develop that many characters. I play a seeker (my main), bm (my farmer), cleric (alt to help faction), and barb (alt to help faction). I'd like to play a sin and mystic at some point, but I only have time to really play my seeker and bm for dailies/farm runs.

Anyways, I think PWI should allow for players to buy extra character slots (if not develop free slots) like my previous MMO because there are many players like Lynndis out there who would benefit from it. It may help with company profits if alt-heavy players like to invest in that many chars.

I admit, I am a little bit of an achievement ho. I like seeing that shiny little thing in my list. Other than that though, the convenience of having 10 slots is much more to my liking than two separate accounts. But, now that the others have given their opinions, I may just do that. Although I honestly doubt my comp could play two clients of the game at once

you dont have to multi client ..You can still just have the 2nd account for more slots.

If I can dual log (although massive lag at some point) on my 8 year old comp, mostly anyone can...If u think your comp might not be able to stand it, just run both clients at minimal details and you should be ok.

honestly I think the game designers should have no problem solveing our problem and just add the 2 extra slots otherwise the game just simplely seems less attracted for new comers that wanna test out all the characters on 1 sever and yet they have to delete 2 characters to start the the 2 they have not tryed or be annoyed that they cant play all 10 on a sever with their friends... its just so annoying b:angry

Well i do and many of my friends that play also believe its stupid that its set like this... I also know so picky people that have played that quit just for that reason cause it annoyed them so much...b:sad

If the only reason you want to dual log is to use the account stash, then only duel log when you are crafting something for your other char/trading them something from your main.

Honestly it's taken me over 2 years to finally fill all 8 spots on my account. Although it would be nice, I don't see the huge appeal for adding extra 2 slots. I finish one character, then when I'm done with it, make a different one and move on. I understand wanting to experience all the classes, but I know you probably don't like all the classes and how they fight.
For example, maybe you don't like playing a cleric, so you may level one to 25ish or something and decide you don't like it and never play it again. So then that cleric is just wasted space on the account and if you delete it, there is nothing to fill that space but with something you already have.
I personally don't like the seekers, although I know a lot of people do, so there would be no point in me making one, so it would be a space I'd never use. The idea earlier in here about buying the space if you want it sounds better so then people who don't need those 2 spaces don't have to have them. It might add a bit more money to pwe's pocket as well.

But I highly doubt they will ever add 2 extra spots.

Any chance at all for 2 more slots?
