Help needed for equipment and looking for a barb mentor (HT)

Hey everyone

I've been working on my skills and stuff and I think it's going pretty well! Though it gets painful soloing bosses and not having a cleric.

Anyway, my question is, what kinda armor should I focus on. I was told that I should get TT70 and use it till 90 or get something at 80 and use it till TT99 or Nivana, something like that.

I found some stuff under Auction House - Elite Instance > General. Level 77 top, and bottoms and boots. They are socketed with HP shards. These should be sufficient right?

What about wristguards, cape, ring, belt? OMG. (head spins) What should I be focusing on there. I heard that I should be getting a Misty Forest Ring too for accuracy boost. Can someone point out where I could find those?

And for wristguards, cape, ring and belt, what should I focus on. Should they be socketed with +HP as well or something else? Would love your advice and help on this.

I really hope I can get some help with the equipment part at least. Thank you so much!

I've found a Misty Forest Ring, and necklace and belt that are elemental in nature to kinda up the defences against magical mobs.

What should I look for in a cape, wristguard and boots?

    Aight, so if you were on a budget and didnt want to go for full HH80 gold armour i'd recommend something along the lines of this:

    This was what i used, and it has treated me well into the 80's and now at 91 i replaced with What i could with mountcrasher gear currently, i still have the misty rings, a different 3* helm that gives more HP(At 90 i'd recommend either splashing out on a warsoul of earth or looking for a decent OHT helm with +HP/Vit mods). I still use the cape and rings, althought as soon as possible i would replace my necklace with a Sky Demons pearl, and the belt with a Demon Slaughter belt

    But really its all up to what you want to do, those are just my suggestions as of having got through those levels and did quite well, i mean hell with good enough gear FCC is a lot of fun and so is tanking cause you can just muck around and enjoy yourself

    Well Lulz is right with everything, Warsoul helmit is really good for extra hp/crit/and extra Str attritbutes, everything a Barb needs, who could go wrong with that? They're expensive though and can range from 18M to 30 or even 40M (which I think is ridiculious and overpriced but they also have 4 sockets and decent hp shards) I would reccomend buying a championship scroll if you can do it, a lot cheaper, plus it will have your name on it. b:chuckle I think you should be looking at lvl 90 Mountcrasher gear (TT), but again really really expensive, but if you can't do that, then I would suggest buying some really nice 3 stars with a lot of vit attributes, hp is the key with barbs, higher suviivability. Another piece of armor that is good at least until you can get a nice WTLG (wing trophy lunar glade) is the Cape of Tauren Chieften, it adds some nice magical resistance, which is also good for Barbs, but your armor should be mostly hp. Lulz is right about the sky demon's pearl, it adds a lot of exta hp and str attributes that can make up for wearing your weapon while the other stats go into vit. A good piece of wristguard armor is either Elfcrafted Heavy Bracers (lvl 80), which add interval, hp and and vit points, or u might want to go with Vambraces of the Brute (lvl 90) which add dex for higher accuracy (really good), even more interval! and some crappy water resistance lol. they range from 6-9M, I think. Not that common to find in AH so I would suggest buying the mats and having a friend manufacture it for you if you don't already have the skill upgrade. I know a lot of this stuff is expensive, the only other thing that isn't is the 3 stars, though some of those can be really really good (people think they don't, but they do because of the wide variety of stats in them, you only lose some mag/phys def, not that much to make a huge difference). So use hp shards in your gear, and get those misty forest rings too!! I'm also on Heaven's Tear so I can help you with some stuff, though I assume you know pretty much everything due to your level (if you didn't get powerlvled lol, j/k). b:bye
