Beneath and Above FC?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anyone ever experienced anything similar ;

We've just finished "Head" room in FC and now we were moving forward , toward the next boss. As you well know there is a harpy in the hall ( On the way to that Polearm like Boss , forgot his name ). So , Sins know that if you shadow teleport to harpy , it will stun it for a short period of time but once you stunned it you will drop down to the floor.

Apparently not this time ! ( Laughs ) As soon as I shadow teleported to harpy - I stuck in mid AIR! Then I killed harpy and proceeded to walk on the roof of FC! I did not try to teleport to ally since my skill was on cool down, so I turned right instead and it droped me from ABOVE the FC to BELOW , I was able to roam under the heads room , seeing that room above me , then I went under the room of that "Polearm" I could not see my team or the room but I saw on minimap I was right beneath them, there was nothing but snow in both rooms. I did not take screenshots of me being on the roof but I have plenty of me being under the "heads" room. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar to this?

    For starters, there is no "Polearm" boss in FCC; it's "Nob" (real name is Dreadindra).
    Furthermore, this boss is not after exp room.
    Fail troll is fail.

    The boss after the XP room (Decaying Fragrance) uses Cenequus' debuff. The harpy in the hall leading to Fragrance is probably what the OP's talking about.

    Decaying Fragrance is, albeit infrequently, referred to as "the polearm boss" by a fair amount of people due to it using the same rediculous debuff.

    Then I shall simply assume its a server thing. Much like the (Lol) NV / Narnia / Nirv / vana labels for Nirvana.

    Ive played for damn close to 18 months and when we (My old friends had a pretty good FC squad laid out, I was teh Cleric back then b:cute) began with FC thats what we referred to it as. Add onto that that at least some other people in the thread understood which boss OP meant and you are beginning to look somwhat stupid.

    You were attempting to troll, and you have failed to label me as a troll.

    I confirm that some people(Like me),usually refers to that boss after Xp room as the Pole-like boss.Easier to spell(And to remember),especially for non-english speakers like me.

    I've done this before and am able to do it whenever I want to on my sin. If you agro the harpy (knife throw) and run towards it the harpy will go above the pathway and above the ceiling. Then if you shadow teleport you jump to the top of the ceiling then are able to kill the harpy with your daggers while it is stunned.

    At this point if you jump off the side you will go all the way to the bottom of the instance and will have to town teleport to get back, however if you stay on top of the ceiling you can get back down by selecting someone close to you in your squad and then shadow jumping back down to them.

    Firstly, ^ above poster is dumb. I always laugh at the idiots that play this game. There are many. Joke's on you kiddo, it's referred to as the Polearm boss solely because of it's physical and magic defense debuffs that mirror Polearm, the most popular boss players associate Decaying Fragrance with. Hard to see how you've, by your own self-proclaimed words, played for that long and don't know this.

    Secondly, I've done this on my sin many times. More often than not, I would get stuck in a mini area above the ceiling attacking the harpy. In the other two possible scenarios, 1) I would get my head stuck in the ceiling, if the harpy wasn't high enough, and wouldn't be able to move. Or 2) after being above the ceiling, if moving to the outer regions of that small area, would fall down to the bottom of the entire instance (able to see everyone above me and other areas within viewing distance), and need to have someone go to an area low enough to teleport to (under, but likely not directly under, the area you are moved to after Messenger of Fear -- there's a narrow passageway you can enter via left and right of the entrance to the big room), if not town portal.

    However, I stopped doing the fun teleports mostly because I had never figured out why my sin would constantly get hit with the permanent-running-in-place bug that delayed all skills upon getting it, and relogging (or using the teleporter at Messenger) were relatively annoying as fixes.

    Yup, done it on my Seeker, Always fun to tele to the Harpies. It's like a Zipline! And the amount of immaturity and downright rudeness in this thread is astounding.

    For the record, I sometimes refer to Fragrance as the polearm boss, and have heard others reference her in the same manner or similar as well.

    * Shrugs. I've been playing this game since 2008 and we always referred to him/her as the Polearm like boss. Due to the similarity in their debuffs.

    It kind of hurts when you try to be insulting and trolling but then 2 pages of people handed your butt to you huh ? b:chuckle b:bye

    It is indeed refered to as the polearm boss by a hell of alot more that refer it to the nob boss(Have never heard it called that at all).... 4chan and PWI just dont go together so your gonna have to think of a new statement to make instead of just coming up with the same old same old besides it is only people like you that gives 4chan its name. Stop repeating what you heard on the internetz
