Weekly Events suggestion

The event times are tailored to meet with the availability of the largest percentage of PWI "target audience" who live in the same time zone as the servers themsevles.


However, Fuzzy does believe this thread belongs in the suggestion box.

4) Heard it comes from Korea; not 100% sure of the origin but to me it looks more oriental than american.... The company that owns the game(PWE) is based in China. The original coders were from China, or so I've heard, but now the developers are based in the US.(I think California, but I may be wrong.)

The red would be my responses. I'm truly not attempting to be "snarky" or what have you, this just seriously has been suggested countless times before, so it's safe to assume that PW knows what some players would prefer and will implement a change if it suits them.

International is referring to two things in this case. One, that the primary and largest player base in on a different continent than the parent/main company. The game is based in China, developed in China, and the main company is in China. Perfect World Entertainment is just a US based branch. IT also refers to the fact that they allow more than one country to play on this game. The time zones are such that they are optimized for people living in both North and South America (which again, are two entirely different continents.)


And you should really take the time to learn how to use the search on the forums. It is kind of annoying when people won't put in the effort to learn how to do things here and expect other people to use their time/resources so you won't have to. The search function isn't hard to learn.
