So we are just sittin and waitin for a cleric in BH59. My inv is full and im standin somehwere. No one is doin nething like fight. no one is picking up drops. Then suddenly a [Ying-Yang Charm] appears right where im standing. I cant pick it up cuz my inv is full. Someone picks it up. 2 mins later, im standin in a new place and the SAME thing happens...

The random split gave the item to you. You had no room, so it went to the floor.
Carry less stuff around if you dont want it to happen.0 -
What he is saying is that no one was fighting anything.. No one was killing anything.. Nothing was dropping OR being picked up.. But items appeared on the ground.0
-
The cleric was probably fighting something on the way there and got drops from it.0

that this question comes from a level 79 character that has been playing the game at least 4 months saddens me..[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
There is no place in a perfect world for double entendre!0 -
The cleric was not far away from you and was picking up items that you guys forgot to pick. You say that all the squad was just standing still and not doing anything, but maybe someone was running around picking up stuff.
I can't think of something other than that0 -

Is there a need to down me?
I CLEARLY said NO ONE was picking anything up. The cleric wasn't in the instance yet, but she was flying to the instance. EVERYone was just sititn waiting. NO ONE (again) pciked up anything0 -

There isn't a need to down you. Unfortunately, these forums are filled with people who have serious self esteem issues and try to compensate by downing others. The best thing you can do is try not to be that person. (Admittedly, I sometimes fail.)
But, to answer your original post, I have no idea. Normally when something like that happens it is because someone is picking stuff up and the full inventory person dumps stuff on the ground. In this case, the item is normally unpick-able for a minute or so. Did the person who got your items have to wait, or were they able to pick them up immediately?
That seems really weird and might be a bug, (they occur often enough in this game that to immediately discount someones story is silly.)
Anyway, good luck![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thanks to Silvy for the awesome sig!0 -

He said NO ONE WAS PICKING UP ANYTHING seriously learn to read and be helpful instead of trolling0 -
who is trolling? I am simply expressing my disappointment (now seriously compounded) in the lack of understanding of squad distribution mechanics. all you are doing is repeating what he said.. and it has already been explained - someone else picked up the items (probably the cleric - OR THE PERSON HE SAID PICKED UP THE ITEM WHEN IT APPEARED THE FIRST TIME) and they were randomly distributed to the OP. His bag was full so they ended up on the floor.
you think that if toons were randomly spawning DQ items it would have affected more than a single player WITH A FULL INVENTORY? hmm?
tldr? tough![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

+1
Amazing how people instantly call Troll these days when they don't like/agree with a post. Kind of takes all the sting out of the insult when it is bandied about so much. b:bye[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I could defend OP but after seeing him in action.. hmhm.
Maybe someone dropped it next to you.
But I'd rather guess the cleric was fighting something and picked it up.
And yea I read the OP. I just have my doubts of the truth in it lol[SIGPIC][SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

First thank you.
Second, I said, "U guys pik these up my inv full" and thye picked up w/out wating
Im used to things dropping because my inv is often full. I kno how it works. But everyone was standing still and cleric wasnt in instance. No one dropped it near me cuz i was not close to them and they werent moving0 -

A drop grimlin was hiding in your party, stealing your drops. He got some drops but his devious plan was foiled by the random drop distribution. Drop grimlins are always in stealth when stealing drops, so its not surprising that you didn't notice him. They have a stealth level of 250. They sometimes steal things even from "?" bosses when they are bored.0 -

Ya... you know squad mechanics... but apparently your'e too stupid to read first. >.<
First off, how the hell could the cleric probably pick up the item WHEN THE CLERIC WASN"T IN THE DUNGEON YET? And how could the cleric have been fighting anything ... picked stuff up, and it randomly go to this guy when the cleric WASN'T IN THE DUNGEON YET (only COINS do that from outside a dungeon)??!? It's pretty CLEAR what the hell he said.... he said NO ONE was doing ANYTHING, INCLUDING HIMSELF, and POOF a yin yang charm was on the ground. Now stop and think..... if NO ONE was fighting, or picking ANYTHING up, even if his bag was full... where the hell did that Yin Yang come from and why'd it drop?
Ya... this happens when somone's bag is full and people kill stuf and it randomly goes to the full person, THEN it'll drop to the floor. But NO ONE WAS DOING ANYTHING. So what the hell? This is weird....0 -

It is weird, unless the OP only thought that no one was doing anything, when someone actually was, which is most likely what actually happened. The only glitch here is between the OP's chair and keyboard, and there isn't anything that PWE can do about that kind of glitch.0 -
lol i was thinkign that too.... but it'd say in the log if that yin yang or anything else was picked up no matter how far in the dungeon they were from each other. Unless he didn't look at the log....0

Wow.... surfing the forums for flame posts is more fun than the game itself anymore!

lol hey Pierce How are you doing?
They see me trollin
They hatin
Trying to catch me writing dirty..
I find it amusing. OP is a nub. Those who don't see that are also nubs. (Now I am trollin' them - but they brought it on themselves)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I was in a FC at the heads, no one was killing any of them, but we were getting the exp still. We were all just standing there doing nothing.
How many of you who are defending the OP, I wonder, are going to actually believe that statement. How many people are going switch over and say "someone must have been killing them" even though I said no one was?
I don't doubt whether this happened to the OP, I just doubt his observation skills since someone was picking them up and he just didn't notice them. That, or this is just a troll thread. Either way, what saddens me is that the most obvious answer was eluded by several people. Maybe the Cleric was in there and he just failed to notice it? Maybe someone was running around and he failed to notice it? Maybe an Assassin was in stealth and he failed to notice because of the transparency they have in stealth?0 -
*shakes head* jeesh are you all just that thicked headed that you have to be right?
most likely it was a case of server lag ive seen it before, pick something up and it takes
a few mins to show up in your pack if your pack was full it then drops it.
there case solved0 -

After reading your posts and proving that none of our suggestions was valid to your situation, it might just be a glitch or you just didn't notice something but I doubt that since the person who picked up the DQ item 'you dropped' was able to pick it up instantly.0
