Quest Kill eyes of the krimson beyond

What is so bad **** about this boss, that everyone says to skip this quest? and why can't i find a party to do it?

If anyone wants to contact me in game to form a party i am on dreamweaver server cst.

    This boss is easy, I've killed it without a cleric before, pm me sometime if you need it.

    Very high lvls can kill it easy but at lvl 60 is quite hard. If you do it when you're 60 you need 2 good clerics with lvled purify to alternate it on the barb. The boss is hard because it debuffs the tank and makes his physical defense go close to 0. So if the tank isnt constantly purified he is killed in a few hits.

    As a cleric, the one thing I find annoying about Krimson is how he runs b:angry

    He's easy enough to heal and purify for, but once he runs it can be really tough for a lowish level barb/cleric combo.

    But like Kasumi said if you need help with Krimson, let me know :D

    Yeah - krim is nasty at 60. We brought our whole guild to do him the first time - something like 20 of us.

    And he ran away, then turned round, came past the tankers and AOEd to kill every single one of the casters and clerics.

    It was hilarious. We got him the second time though.


    He also has a shiny shiny axe attack which he will use to kill any pet he can see (seemingly even if the barb is holding aggro) - and that seems to stay true even at later levels.


    So, tips: Get a really good tank and a really good cleric, or a couple of half-decent clerics. Staying in the air can make things easier for the clerics. Interrupt his casting!

    And.. at weekends there's usually a squad or two killing krimison, who'll usually welcome people in.

    It's pretty important that the tank stay on his flying mount for this boss. Eyes runs too much to be on foot.

    He can be a pain at early levels, but overall he's a quick kill if your squad knows what it's doing.

    We did it with a BM as tank, and had 3 clerics spam healing him (I never asked why they just didn't have one purify and the other two spam heal..)

    Was pretty fun, and I got to farm the Anthracite mine on that mountain a lot b:dirty

    Hmmm he might be weaker against magic. After our barb died, our wizard and cleric took him down with help from two mystics, and he was still 70% full of HP, and it was pretty quick too. :D

    I soloed Krimson on my assassin it took about 7-9 seconds, so its not a hard boss at all.

    People just say skip it because they're to lazy to fly over to Kings Feast to help out with a quests that gives 10k exp. I would probably say "oh noes its really to hard for me" as well to avoid nagging about bosses and to save teleport costs lol.

    Boss is really hard at 6X tho, so i understand why you cant find parties around that level to help out. But if you do him at like 8X and have a decent cleric, should be really easy.

    Killed it by myself at level 78-ish, using just crab meat and timing sparks to avoid his nasty debuff. Lucky kill though. On my second try, going to kill it for a guildie ended in a horrible and quick death for both of us. Nasty motherf*cker.
