is it possible to be transferd from server

IF YOU have a good enough reason, can u be transferd, from serveer to server? has anyone don this before? o.o

    No, as far as I know you can't have anything moved between servers

    i do wish they could allow this... i think it would add something new to the game... im sure not every pve player wants to stay on the pve one...

    Total guess here, but I doubt they have the automation between servers to perform easy database transfers, so it probably becomes a manual process and somewhat of a tedious task for them to do.

    I have heard of several ppl transfering gold. So maybe you could liqudate all ur stuff, and buy gold with the coin, and at least transfer ur character value to another server. The transfer takes 2 or 3 weeks from what is was told from fac members that I know did it...this gives you some time to get a running start with a new player, and with the elders blessing, you really dont need to buy any gear til lvl 30(ish).
    And I will strike down on thee with great vengeance and furious anger...the life you thought you led is gone, and your catshop is on an island surrounded by dinosaurs.

    I'm pretty sure you can't transfer gold you gained from server - I saw a post somewhere saying that once the coin/gold had entered the economy they woul'd remove it. The only time they move gold between severs is if you charge zen and put it on the wrong server for example.

    i want to move to another server too, im playing on East server and i live on the west side. it lags me, i think i wont lag much if i play on Westcoast cause i live by california

    I honestly dont know all the details behind it, but I know for certain that a friend in my fac did tranfer his gold. I'll ask him for the details next time I see him, and post anything I find out here.

    Come to think of it, maybe it was zen and not gold...been up for 28 hrs, brain's a little fuzzy right now. b:chuckle Either way, I post the details here when I get them :)

    I find it really surprising that they haven't implemented this feature. Both Square-Enix and Blizzard offer it, and make quite a bit of money from it. (SE charges $25 and you can move any/all characters at once, with a lockout of 90 days, and Blizzard charges $25 per character, with a lockout of 3 days on the individual character that was moved).

    Can you imagine the increase in profit they'd see if they started to offer this service?

    Just because they have it doesn't mean all MMO companies have to.

    Its because they get more profit if players go on buying their way up to endgame, then decide they would prefer to be on a different server, find out there's no way of being moved between servers, QQ, rage, calm down, start over on new server and buy their way up to endgame again b:pleased

    True, there is no direct function to transfer stuff between servers. It is however possible to create a copy of anything and place it in another server. This includes complete player data (as seen in the chinese inter-server tournaments). If we see rain upwards and pigs flying, then maybe we may see PWE do these requests.

    You are correct. My point was simply that I find it surprising that they do not offer it when they can make a nice chunk of change for doing what is essentially copying character data from one server and pasting the data into the database for the destination server. That's all I was getting at.
