what the different from F2P to P2P?

I was checking on some new games being release on gamespy, found this and look cool, but wasnt sure how far free players can go. So wondering what the different from free to play (F2P) and paying to play (P2P), can someone tell me what the difference is?

    Free-to-play (F2P, FTP) refers to any game that has an option of allowing its players to play without paying.

    Pay to play, sometimes pay for play, is a phrase used for a variety of situations in which money is exchanged for services or the privilege to engage (play) in certain activities.

    Short, F2P you create an account and play. You CAN pay if you want to, but you don't have to. PWI is one of those.

    P2P you have to pay a certain fee to be able to pay. It can be 1 fee or a monthly/yearly one.

    Yes but does it give any bonus, extra or limit for playing this game while F2P? I like it so far, just few things is too off, like weight conversions. Wasnt sure about the pvp balance and how big the map is. My g/f loves it though. Been waiting for new expansion for Edited, so dunno if i stick around to play Edited.

    Anything can be obtained in game even when playing as F2P, the difference is just how fast you get it. The difference could be a little or huge gap compared to people that using cash shop or called boutique here.

    Nothing special when you play as F2P. It's already free but some people didn't have patience and grow hatred to people that using cash shop, even though we know that these cser (cash shop user) is the one that paying for the game.

    The only P2P Perfect World is the China version (original) that has some (or many) differences F2P version doesn't have.

    As for not reaching anything as a non-cash shopper:
    1. Some of the richest players in the game are non-cash shopping merchants
    2. The only level 105 (maximum level) player in the game hasn't bought a thing with real money

    They are right. You can get things faster, but is isn't better. You can play it free, farm money and buy the items from other players too.

    P2P - Monthy fee required Ex. WoW

    F2P meaning you can spend money to improve toon where as to P2P you get a monthy bill plus w/e you may spend for better equipment. Tell me if I am wrong because as of yet I've never played a P2P game.

    Personally I grasp this then WoW (prolly due to I never played early installments but, hey all games should have introductions. Ex. KH or Disgaea)

    I believe the OP was referring to the tendency of "f2p" games to restrict content for the free players and was asking if this was true in PWI and if so, then how large was the restriction.

    Yes the game is great, alot of ppls out there dont have patient. I like to earn mine and i do have patient wooHOO. What so funny is when Edited first came out, they had million of ppls playing it, and think they went too far paying that much for it. Anyway, making this free and many MMOs out there will put Edited in serious situations. Edited was great when first came out, then Blizz added too much craps to it and became too boring, just too cartoonish to me and weird lol.

    50 cents a day is no big deal, i know alot of ppls cant afford it. Most ppls have drugs problems as well cigs gonna cost way too much, if they try quiting can make a big different not mention live longer.

    on p2p you Pay to Play (i.e subscription)

    on f2p you are Free to Pay .. sorry Play.. meh both work... you can play for free but can subsidise the game and get some nice benefits in return

    I was just stating that: You may supporting the game by buying stuff to keep it active and running. You don't however have to.

    I prefer p2p games you just pay monthly bill and you get everything in game just using coins(what you get from quests and mobs) no cash shops etc all you need you can buy from npc fashion etc stuff and character custimization is much better than pwi (in most p2p games)
