What does cannot be bound as your primary attack mean on Heart Shatter? O.o sorry if it's a dumb question.

It means that it doesn't increase damage dealt by auto-attacks.0

No, actually it is a good thing. Now an Assassin can't take his Seeker who has maxed Heart Shatterer into some instance and have it put on the boss so the Assassin has a perma amp on top of his 5.0 APS. Or in your case, Blademaster.0 -

My BM and seeker are on the same account anyway so it would be a moot thing for me xD I just dont want to have to skill spam when seekers have itsy bitsy mp gauges to get my amp bonus e.e; but seeing as my other main character is a wizard I understand the thought process behind the no auto attack amp thingies and appreciate it o_o0 -

Psychic uses Stone Smasher
Both die.

Is it possible to QPQ Soulburn? Because I know it can't be purified. Not really sure why a psy would soulburn a seeker anyway. b:lipcurl Though I guess there are certain idiots out there...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

yes. you can also QPQ debuffs onto bosses that normally cant have said debuff.I hope that I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of title, the character of an honest man. -George Washington0 -

Considering Gemini is like a physical version of BIDS, I would say it would be quite smart for a Psychic to use it, especially since the long channel time allows a player to interrupt it if they see the Psychic use Psychic Will. Not to mention with Soulsever, it can reduce a Psychics greatest assets, it's Voodoo skills. However, it would only be smart to use if you were to first find a way to make the Seeker use it, such as by using Occult Ice to freeze them in place, and then using Sand Trap and Torrent. With two of the most powerful DoT attacks on, especially magic ones on a HA class, I imagine a Seeker would want to get those off in a hurry.
Honestly though, I wonder how many Psychics actually use Soulburn. I've been with only one or two in any squad where they used it on a boss.0 -

I just don't see the point in soulburning the slowest attacking HA class (skill wise) with a physical soulburn.
And I'm not sure about most psys, but back when I played mine, I preferred to save my chi for sparking, and tried to always make sure I had a spark for Psychic will in case I pulled aggro on a boss. There were certain bosses that I loved to soulburn, however (5aps boss in 3-1 for example).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

actually it works great on some bosses, its like an OP DoT, and if you cast it at the very beginning of a boss i believe the attacker gets that damage counted towards him (so he gets better agro) although this is kinda off topic from the original post
anyway i always thought "could not be bound as primary attack" meant you could not use it as like the first skill in a macro or something... glad thats cleared up o:[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] b:surrender

Point taken. I admit almost all cases it would probably be a waste (and a stupid move) to bother with against a Seeker. Still, while they are one of the slowest, they also have the most ranged attacks of any melee class, while also having some of the most powerful attacks.0 -

Oh, of course. I'm well aware of that, that's why I rolled one. b:chuckle I like the idea of being a pseudo-HA wiz.
And while it would be a waste, I still have seen certain psys that can't get past the idea that "if I soulburn them they'll automatically kill themselves". So I can see the opportunity arising in some situations of psys that don't really know what they're doing.
But in any case, we've diverted quite a ways from the original topic, so I think I'll just leave it at that. b:cute[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
