Leveling a Nix

    Any place where you can one-shot things until it can tank things more your level. If I could kill it in 1-2 shots that's what I killed to level my nix. The occasional aoe made it a little faster if I was lucky with the mob group.

    I second the staunch worms. They are over the beach by the Tideborn city. They don't fight back, so they're just punching bags for your pet.

    If the nix has a little trouble with them at first, just get on the ground and one-shot all the low level mobs until the nix is strong enough to kill the staunch worms more easily.

    Staunch Worms are also level 150? which gives a lot of EXP to a pet.

    staunch worms are lv100 which means that if nix has max loyalty it will gain the max amount of exp available per kill (15 exp)

    altho pre 50-60 nix wont be able to 1shot them so going around from the starter areas and AoE'ing bunch of mobs around nix's lv will also give it max exp

    if 95+ and have access to Old Valley of the Scarred past map, then can alwyas grind there for exp for pet + urself since mobs there are lv 150 and have ~12k hp

    Staunch Worms between levels 50 and 100 (if you want fast, mindless levelling).

    or looking for good mobs to grind out drops on, such as Fruit from Dragon type mobs and Vipons.


    When you unlock them, any [?] mob in the past maps work; Valley of the Scarred is best, IMO.

    Yah i used the low lvl mobs that i one shot to lvl.

    Right now my nix is about 10 lvls lower than mine & i am getting mobs i need mats to improve my crafting skills b:pleased

    If u r looking for easy to kill lvl 150 mobs to lvl ur nix, go to the marriage quest spot near Sanctuary (the lake at 622, 524). The air mobs there die to nix within 2 hits (at least to a lvl 90+ nix).
    If there is no marriage quest there that day, noone is there normally. So if the Worms down at Raging Tides r crowded, this is a nice alternative. Especially since ur nix still gets full exp with lvl 101+.

    I'd like to add that the mobs around Arch are excellent for lvling nixes until your early twenties. When your nix is in its 30's, it can kill the staunch worms reasonably quickly. =)

    Mainas ~ lvl 80 Barbarian

    If you have 2 chars that can go to the 3rd chrono map, that place is better than any place.
    I had my barb lure all the mobs at the entrance. The barb would use turtle while on my veno I would triple spark, and use nova. After that nova I would use noxious gas and only the few mobs with mag. resistance would still be alive.

    That way is way faster because u kill a lot of mobs with just 2 aoes and the nix doesn't have to do anything
