In the US it is National Stuttering Awareness Week as it every year on the second week in May. I have been doing my fair share by spamming people with emails, putting up flyers, stuttering my face off, and so on but I totally forgot my pixel playground.

If you are a stutterer on this server why don't you give me a shout in game, an email, a in game mail, or even just reply to the thread and show people how cool you are. After all there are a ton of famous stutterers from Vice President Joe Biden, James Earl Jones (aka Vader aka the guy you hope isn't your daddy but really is even though he just chopped off your hand), Bruce Willis, John Stossel, Emily Blunt, Julia Roberts, Tiger Woods, and on and on and on until you get to historical figures like King George VI, Winston Churchill, and then even more historical like Demosthenes and Moses. Go tell Samuel L Jackson he isn't cool because he stutters. I dare you.

Want to know more about stuttering ask me or just go out and google it you are already online. Although seriously just ask researching it is my hobby/passion and maybe one day a career. I know it isn't easy, it isn't fun, and most of the time it sucks but you have to just deal with it just the same way I deal with being a Wolf Barb who can only turn into a white tiger.

    *Stuttering is universal -- in all countries and groups equally.
    *Approximately 1% of the world's population stutters.
    *There are 3 million stutterers in the USA
    *More males than females stutter --4 or 5 to one.
    *Stuttering varies from time to time -- Cyclic variation.
    *Stuttering begins in childhood -- from 2 to 5 when language is being learned. It cannot be said to begin at birth.
    *The majority of children who stutter spontaneously recovery within 6 months.
    *There is no known cause.
    *There is no cure; but great help - - and hope for easy speech.
    *Recoveries are never quick -- rather gradual, with ups and downs.
    *There are no special words or sounds for stutterers -- only those which have become feared.
    *Time pressure increases stuttering.
    *Demands for explanations increase stuttering.
    *Excitement, fatigue, contusion and uncertainty increase stuttering.
    *Praising fluency does not help; it implies stuttering is bad.
    *The hardest part about being a stutter isn't the disfluent moments of stuttering it is the emotional baggage that results from it.
    *You don't stutter badly because that implies the stutterer doesn't stutter well but the truth is they seem to be very good at it. The normal fluent people are the ones that stutter badly because they don't stutter at all and haven't had years of practice at it.

    I stutter/stammer when I feel pressured, overwhelmed, and/or excited. Outside of that, I'm good. YAY...

    I've never really had any stuttering problems, but I think it's cool that you're so into this.

    It does make it hard to converse from time to time. I have had one person tell me to get back to them when I am able to actually form words and had someone yell at me to get out with it already. My response to both was f*** you and I walked away.

    I agree Zaphael it is a great movie. I have seen it maybe a half dozen times already. When it won all those Oscars I was jumping around my house like a nut.

    I don't stutter, but I have 2 friends that do. It don't bother me, and I know they can't help it. I'll sit there, listen to them, and talk to them normally as if they didn't stutter.
