How to get better chances from the packs.

try this.

Imagine the best thing you want in the pack for 1minute and that you really want it. Believe your going to get it. You must truly absolutely 100% believe going to get something good. Practice this over and over each pack you open and you will get something good.

    In my experience, I've gotten the best results from packs at the times when I'm fed up with the game, think to myself "I dont even know why Im bothering to open these.." and voila! A Stone of the Savant pops out! The other day I opened just two - one had a Citrine Gem and the other a Best Luck Token. Don't get me wrong though, my luck is generally bad with these things otherwise.

    I just open packs for the Tokens.

    If something other than tokens comes out of a pack...

    Then I QQ endlessly. b:angry 'Cause then, I have to go through all of the time to find a buyer for it, and fly to where ever they want to meet to buy it, then they try talking me down on the price, and...

    Seriously, no, I don't open packs for anything but tokens. I'm happy if I get anything else, but... I only get packs when I get really low on crabs/mp food/hypers/whatever. b:surrender

    I heard a story of this one guy who had a whole ritual for opening packs. What he did was lube himself up with sea lion grease, then he would do this strange penguin dance that would go on for almost an hour. Having done all that, he would then summon the dark lord Ctulhu in a pack-spamming frenzy, twitching his tongue and facerolling his keyboard in a sad, neverending attempt to +12 his rank 9 set.

    Really awkward stuff.

    By the way, this is what I go for before identifying equipment to a merchant... and most of the time, he/she curses it with the worst stat around... Endurance +50%. Dammit! b:angry

    Btw, I never had such ambitions, but over 120 packs I opened a few days ago, I was believing 100% I would get at least something decent, like an ornement insigna, or a cape or idk... guess what... ONLY regular tokens off 120 packs.

    I only got something decent from packs 1 time, it was a platinum MP charm. Which I sold so I could get 10 medium ink to make my Arme Nier skill book >.> Any other time, I just go and see what I can get with tokens. Find something useful or worth a decent amount of coins, and then open the packs. Voila! Never disappointed. The tokens are also how I got the pages for my 79 skill. Even when I don't find something useful or worth selling, I just sell the tokens themselves. So, to be honest, I never get upset when I open packs (as long as I don't tell myself "C'mon, packs! Give me [desired item]!!").

    Edit: When I say "Useful or worth selling", I mean at that specific time. It really depends on my mood.

    For a long time on Sanctuary there was a cat-shop with the title, "FAIL Armor", and sure enough if you looked at it it contained a +50% Endurance, +50% Endurance, +50% Endurance piece of armour. Epic stuff.
