okay how does this work...

I have an aquatic pet on my Venomancer. But I haven't really bothered to level it up because I know that if I even tried to, I would run into the problem of not being able to upgrade its skillset like... EVER. Is there any way to do this in the game currently, and if not, do any of you think that the people at the headquarters may at some point install some method of doing this in a future installment of the game updates?
Acc 1: TolanSky ~ ● Seeker / Daearena ~ Mystic / ThornLily ~ Veno
Acc 2: Veilana ~ Sin / QueenBlubrry ~ Cleric / Lemondrop ~ Psychic

    yes you can. you need to go to the east side of arch, near the shipyard where boats are. on right side of the ship yard underwater there is a pet NPC (this is the opposite side of the newbie quest NPCs).
