Do you prefer VIT or DEF for seeker?

Do you prefer VIT or DEF for sharding, or a mix of both.

VIT (+10)= Primeval/Savant
DEF(+1,+2)=Diamond of dragon/Jade of steady defense

Assuming that it is endgear or near that =o

    I am really thinking -def shards- over vit, namely because of our buff line.. mainly to mitigate the bonuses nirvana/r9 gives, with our base defs buff we could easlity mitigate them.

    Also, im seeing it being very popular that people shard +attck....so.

    I would go with vit or attack levels. Seekers already have free defense levels.

    vit. even sharding JoSD with sage adrenal and a full r9 set wont balance out all the attack levels. then you are left in a somewhat squishy state.

    vit. even sharding JoSD with sage adrenal and a full r9 set wont balance out all the attack levels. then you are left in a somewhat squishy state.
    if your a seeker it would raise your DEF lv to 101 tho (for R9)

    im think im personally gonna try goin with DEF as opposed to VIT

    Def lvl also covers more mag defense, Going VIt would give you nice HPs.. and even more physical defense.. But you will be super squishy to a magic attack, esspecially if they have attack lvl + shards + r9 bonus. Def sharding would significantly decrease damage from all around..

    i have asterelle's site bookmarked for what shards were best....but i guess it's no longer there b:cry


    anyway, from what the shard calc said with full +10 R9 you would do best to have 4 vit and the rest jades. at +12 full jades is better.

    basically, the higher you HP is, the better the jade becomes.

    Vit is statistically better, we get great returns for Vit. Defense levels are severely overrated.

    No amount of defense will save you from a r9 sin. The best you can do is kill them before they stun you. The only way psychic's can work with defense levels is because the opponent gets sealed for every 2-3 hits they do.

    if thats true then no amount of vit will save you either. if both are true why shard at all? b:puzzled

    if you are looking to be the hardest to kill, you need to look at your EFFECTIVE HP.

    once you have 13k-14k HP (without shards), Jades give you more EHP than vit stones.

    I'm sorry but youre sounding completely and severely **** so I'm going to put this in a way you could understand.

    5.0 sin combo= headhunt-triple spark- auto attack and they are usually dead at the end of the couple secs, if not then it's immobilize and silence stun combo and then ur dead...

    How the h*LL are you gonna kill the sin before he stuns you when his first skill outta stealth will always be *surprise* a stun! That's right, you dont.

    The high shard of def levels cancels out the sins high attack levels for one so it's virtually a 0-0 battle, the sin defenses are simple pitiful (most likely shards Att levels) and the seeker would have more hp than the sin most likely due to refines in a endgame battle as well as the seeker still having a decent Att level bonus and his DPH skills

    Virtually the def levels are setting it so the sin doesn't kill the seeker before he can get out of the stunlock, and 2-3 shot him.. Thus Ending the "almighty sin."

    STR and VIT both raise defense so... this should be pretty easy to figure out.

    STR and VIT both raise physical defense so... this should be pretty easy to figure out.

    fixed. defense levels and physical defense are NOT the same.

    also, the amount they add is very minor.

    While that is true, you'd need alot more d.level than the standard 30%(defense lvl 30 from normal adrenal numbness).

    ehm yah, every1 now a days uses occult ice on genie, at least on DW server they do.

    i have badge of courage on my genie, if sin stuns me right away when he goes out of stealth i hit that skill and run

    really easy to do . recomend it to all kyters

    True but help me out because i havent been in game for about a year now, does Occult Ice override Maze Step now because it didnt use to and well it lasts for 10 secs which would be plenty of time to drop classes pretty easily.

    i shard all sap lol, cos i cnt afford deflv2.

    i have 10,1k mdef n 11.5kpdef with ep buff 39attlv 37deflv

    and 8.5k hp unbuff.
