[B]I have a problem starting (urgent)[/B]

Hey, I played PWI on my old computer and now I'm trying to play it on my new one. I just downloaded it yesterday and it worked when it was launched after the download. This morning, I click "elementclient.exe" that is in the "Perfect World International" folder. First problem, it opens strait to the client and doesn't open up the update client which always comes before. Second problem, after it opens itself, it loads, then the notice box is empty. I then go to where I log in and I can actually log in and everything, but when i pick the char I want and I press start, the whole client freezes and on my task manager it says its not responding.

Am I opening the wrong file? I chose not to have a desktop shortcut, which is what I would probably be using but I'm not in this case. I really have no clue what is wrong. Please help! :)b:thanks

    Yes, you are opening the wrong file. You should open

    C:\Perfect World Entertainment\Perfect World International\patcher\Patcher.exe

    You might also want to set it to open as administrator depending on your operating system.

    If you did an install, I am curious as to why you would not use the icon on your desktop to launch it.

    You may also want to verify files if you continue to have a problem even after starting it properly.
