I'm looking for a faction that is active, polite, friendly, and helpful on Raging Tides. At the moment I'm looking for one for a cleric I plan on making.

If you have any suggestions post here name of faction and reason why it's good.

    There are a lot of good factions on RT. You just need to look thru the Guild recruiting section in Guild Batner section and see which RT factions offer what you are looking for in a faction.

    There are a lot of bored people trolling some of these theads looking for who has the best troll, so forgive them as they are having a hard time connecting back with serious posts that don't insult someone. :)

    Wow I tried to join Hallow and have to say that was an incredibly unhelpful and especially rude faction. Seriously got kicked for asking if anyone had 10 dull claw twice...that is beyond stupid.

    So when I say friendly, polite, and helpful I mean it. Please don't recommend factions with poor manners.

    Edit: Trolling my thread is not making your faction look any better. Get over it and move on.

    If you know someone in a faction, they could tell you their rules and how they act before hand. If you don't know anyone already in the faction, ask questions first. Some factions just spam out invites. Those I usually ignore. I prefer when someone whispers to me and starts a conversation. You can then find out their size, age groups and whether they allow members to ask if anyone can help them out on DQ items or such. Some folks think that such is rude, as you found out. A good discussion is a good way to find out what to expect in their faction.

    Like I said, there are a lot of good factions out there... It's just that there are also some not quite so good. Good luck in you quest :)

    No, you got kicked out because when I politely asked you to stop begging the other members for things after you were repeatedly told that no one had any you got rude with me. Helpful hint: If you want to stay in a faction, don't expect the other members to just hand you everything you want the moment you join just because you say so and don't get rude with the leader. I doubt there's any faction out there so desperate for members that they'll put up with that sort of behavior. b:cute

    I only asked twice for 10 Dull Claws that can hardly be called begging and you were acting like I was spamming the chat even whispering me to give me a lecture. For a leader you sure have little patience. I do not hate your faction...although trolling my thread is annoying.... but I do feel kicking someone off for something so lame is stupid. And seriously saying this does not somehow make me rude and if you have such a big problem whisper me in game about it and deal with it there instead of trolling my thread. I have a right to look for a helpful fraction and yours didn't work out so I'm looking elsewhere.

    Oh Im building spirit to catch up on skills. Genie feeding atm. I started killing random mobs to get the money for the skill upgrades. Once I catch up I'll move on. Also I been working on the cleric which i made recently.
