Rough Fur

what monsters drop rough fur the most and mostly what are the coordinates...I need this for manufacturing....will be very helpful if i can get coordinates and or feedback plz....thankyou b:victory

    Any wolf type mobs are the best bet. I find on my alts I get the best droprate off snakevalley bloodwolf near orchid temple.

    As far as drop rate goes, its best to find wolves, lyncean hunters, ursogs etc around your level. On my alts, lyncean hunters west of archosaur have had a good drop rate on rough fur.

    I think any area whit mobs higher as +15 started drop rough fur but drop rate could be very random.
    One day it could be high when next day almost no fur at all... but i agree that West Archo area is best place to hunt for fur.
    By the way i get rough fur even from snakes at the Vibrant Clifs what i find little weird...

    Best way to get the best droprate is to have an alt that is near the level of the mob- much higher or lower, and you have fewer drop.

    I remember grinding from lvl32 to lvl38 in the lake of the plume, doing no quests. Rough furs from lvl34 piranhas and concentrated glue from lvl35 serpents. Sinking exp into genie all the while. As a bonus, the piranhas also drop dull claws. Yeah the shark and shark dons by shattered jade shore drop more fur, but the water there is murky and filled with orange named evil echomaids and vampiric sharks. The worst you'll get from the lake of the plume is a few lvl40 undine queens (basically underwater antelope pups) and the water has higher visibility.

    For lvl 20-30 you can go farm the wolves at the mines.

    For lvl 25-35 the jackal leopardites and the wolves around orchid temple

    For lvl 35-45 the prianhas and sharks around Angler's village & Mount Mantern. This are the ones that have the most drop rate for leather, according my experience.

    If you are 45+ you may try the sharks around misfortune city (or island b:chuckle).

    Above lvl 50 mat drop rate will be lower, so it may be better farm coins at buy the leather from another people.

    Just another Random troll, this link works, snakevalley bloodwolf around the orchid temple have the best drop rate for Rough Fur (11.34%)

    If you're gonna necro a thread just to talk about drop rates, you could at least link to the database that lists the drop rates for everything that drops.
