Elve's Starter Zone (Tumbleweeds)

I think the post's title speaks for itself but here is the thing..

Time ago i used to see like 7 or 8 new elves at starter zone every time i was there but today i went there to check it out 'cause i thought maybe i could find 1 or 2 newbies but i found nobody (that's when the wind howls and the tumbleweed passes b:surrender)

I have to admit it was a desolating image, although i think (actually i hope) it won't be permanent. I know that being a cleric sometimes is a pain and sometimes doing the same runs with the same ways to heal, etc, becomes boring (Not to mention the ignorant ppl who blame clerics just because) but, and i'm talking to bored and undecided ones, being a cleric gives great satisfactions although it requires a lot of hard work sometimes. Give it a chance to be a cleric, it gets funny (and profitable) overtime, trust me.

I enjoy helping new clerics to discover their habilities, skills, teaching them ways to play, ways to heal, ways to kill mobs/bosses, and i know there is a lot of clerics like me out there who are really helpful. So if you have doubts or anything, don't hesitate to ask, you will get the help and the answers that you are looking for.

Personally my first char (and my main) is a cleric. I don't even know why did i choose it, but i love it and i'll never trade it for any toon in the perfect world. I love having to be concentrated the most of the time in a run to keep the squad alive; i love being a support class; i love having my hands (and again, my mind) always busy healing different targets at time; i love easy and peaceful BB moments as well. And that's basically why i really really love being a cleric b:victory

Probably this post won't get many "fans"; probably some ppl laugh at me and my humble and sincere post; but i don't care, just 'cause i enjoy being a cleric and nobody could change that.

If you, who are reading this, think like me high five and thank you very much for your time b:pleased

PS: sorry about my english b:chuckle

You pretty much read my mind with that post. b:cute

I love being a cleric, even though sometimes it's a hard job and I do mistakes. But I always try to learn from them and get better. :D

when i started to play in 2009, there been so many new players that the whole area lagged as hell and you needed ages to finish a quest due all taken spots...

honestly i rarely see totally new players in this game..more likely people who do an alt... :(
If i m trolling and spamming on forum...then i cant sleep and need a good laugh

    I've seen it too.

And it's not just us, either. The other day, I was herb farming in the newbie area outside Lost... not a single person spawned for a good ten minutes. When a newborn barb finally popped up as I was leaving, I buffed him just because.b:sad

Yeah, i have to agree. When i first started playing, i created a veno. And even though i started playing at around 4 am mountain time, there were a BUNCH of newbies hanging around Lost, but going over there now, there really arn't all that many. It's really sad about the amount of people that stopped playing.

But on the note about clerics: After i completely f-ed up my Veno, i made a cleric, since i thought it would be cool to fly around. But since, i've gotten to lvl 56 and though it's tedious, i love it. It's definitly worth the effort needed. Plus, i love my buffs.^^b:chuckle

Wow. I remember when I used to go back to Plume in the old days and it used to be filled with annoying newbs trying to RP and cyber with each other. Last week I went back and I didn't see one newbie who wasn't a catshop mule. b:sad I actually miss them and I miss being able to help them with the early bosses.

Oh sorry, I led a group of new clerics into the fb 19 boss then logged out half way through. That may explain the sudden shortages in clerics.

A proud low level cleric here ( or I should say elf since both of my chars belong to the elf race? ) b:victory
I can say that I`ve tried the gameplay of the BMs, Psys and Sins and it's in times more boring than the cleric's gameplay. I love being a cleric so far and I`m sure that after all the hard work ( and all the hard work that's about to come ) I wouldn't quit the class just because of a few dumbasses that can't save their own *** and blame it on the cleric.

Like 4/5 squads have at least 2 or even 3 Sins so i don't really think Assassin's reproduction is a problem xD

Well I am brand new to this game just started 2 days ago with a psychic tideborn but quit that character at level 8 to officially start as a Cleric. I just wanted to test out a character before I picked one to stick with.

From the sound of it a Cleric is a tough choice but also looks to be interesting, I'm looking forward to building him up.

Same here, from the day I started this game till the day I quit it, I have always only played my cleric.

Keep at it, good sir! b:victory
